was replacing the timing belt,he forgot to put the key to hold it together before starting the vehicle thereby bending some valves. We know that stuff happens and agreed to fix the vehicle.The whole engine was not taken out of the vehicle as stated but just the engine head to be resurfaced and bent valves replaced.When the car was fixed, it was given back to [redacted] in December and we paid him to fix the check engine light.We would like to state that a new head gasket was bought to replace the old one so the customer complaint that the valve cover was not replaced is false. Also, if the timing belt was not fixed properly, there is no was you can drive a car for one day not to talk of the fact that the car has been driven for over 5 months now!The car has been fixed and delivered in perfect condition and has been used for over 5 months. As stated earlier,this is a machine that is over 6 years old and was brought to us with over [redacted] miles on it and I am sure by now the mileage will be over [redacted] miles or closer. A new car does not have a lifetime warranty not to talk of a car that has almost [redacted] miles and is over 6 years old!Copies of receipts for the purchase of new head cover gaskets and bolts will be sent by mail.Regards,DTM
