I recently had a new garage door opener installed by Geoff and Bill of Ct. Overhead Door of Durham. They arrived promptly, did a quality job at a competitive price, and were both very personable. You can tell they take pride in their work and are appreciative of your business. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again when my other opener needs replacing.
What a great experience it was to deal with this company, particularly Geoff I called as a spring broke on my garage door trapping my car inside As I am in sales my car is critical to my job Geoff told me he could get to me same day although later in the day and would be able to atleast get my car out I was able to use another vehicle so that was fine At 5:that evening I hadn't heard from him and thought I would have to find another source He called at and said he was headed my way He worked not only on the broke spring but did maintenance on both doors and remotes He was here till pm! Geoff was completely professional, competitively priced and went above and beyond to ensure both doors were in good working order Would Highly recommend this company, and makes me happy to support a small local business
I called Geoff at Connecticut Overhead doors of Durham to repair two poorly opening garage doors and replace the electric openersGeoff arrived on time, with the correct openers, tools and equipement He did an outstanding job in repairing the doors with bracing Which was both well considered, and installed securelyThe openers were also installed correctly, As was the security pannel and the remotes programmed correctlyI've had dozens of professional workman over decades Geoff was exceptional Geoff said what he would do, did it very well, did it on time and on budget And he was polite, respectful and courteousThese guys are few and far between You want it done right? This business was recommended by a contractor friend. I received a prompt reply from my initial phone call and had an estimate the next day, The owners are very knowledgeable and helped me decide on the new garage doors. The new doors were installed ~2 weeks later. Everything went smoothly including removal of the old doors. I am very happy with the appearance and function of the new doors. The service experience was excellent and the owner/staff were friendly, professional and on time.
I had an outstanding experience with this company and in particular with Geoff M[redacted]. My garage door spring snapped this morning, the day before Thanksgiving, with company coming and figured there would be no way I would have it repaired until next week. I called Connecticut overhead door company of Durham on a whim just a couple of hours prior and geoff answered the phone and said he would be able to fit me in at the end of the day. He also explained what the repair would entail and the cost of the spring and broke everything down for me. He showed up exactly when he said he would and not only repaired the spring but lubricated all three doors so the other springs would be less susecptible to breakage and then helped me pair up all my cars to open the doors and provided me a new remote (despite having to get to another job and his family for the holiday ). My mom is 92 years old and is being driven here by my sister for the weekend and I am very pleased that she will be able to use the remote he provided to get her in and out of the car in the garage instead of the cold outside! in this day and age it seems like excellent service and true professionalism is so hard to come by - well geoff and his company far exceeded my expectations. I would and will highly recommend this company to anybody!
