*** I just received letter from Revdex.com dated Novabout more issues with your chimney I just called you from my landline phone which is my old office number which is still on for purpose of my security systemThe number is *** on weekends im usually doing bills at my desk in basement were my landline isIf you can email me a good time to call I can after work I usually get home after and check my emails for I use this for my personal email as wellThat being said last time we spoke was approxa year or so ago after a heavy rain downfall with winds upon which I sent out a guy that used to work for me to try and attempt to for the second time temporarily fix your chimney flashing ad counter flashing at that time he told you the same thing I told you a year before when I personally came out and brought a garden hose and nozzle on roof and he looked through the attic when I sprayed the roof thoroughly for approx15-mins not just down the roof but up as well with no leaksWhen I started spraying on and a round your chimney that's when water was entering the houseWhen we didn't our roof your chimney flashing and counter flashing were in great shape and secure to the sides of your chimneyI repaired the chimney and told you that it was a repair and a repair is not a fix that it might be good forever or last a month I believe the first repair lasted about a year and a half and the last repair lasted approxa yearBoth times you were not charged and made aware of the issueYou stated that we did your roof in 2008, I don't have your contract as I am only required to keep the last years of records for the business which has been closed since 6/when I took a job and canceled my insurance and advertisingI out of good will had someone come out and repair your chimney after I closed my business and had no insuranceI ran my business for years with no complaints or issues with my workmanship and maintained a A plus business with the Revdex.com for that time with no complaints for a reasonI don't like bad blood nor do I wish to have it with youThat being said do you have a copy of the contract I had with the Town?? I don't believe it had anything g to do with the chimney just for the roof as well as the other things like windows and trimAlso I believe the town required us to have a labor warranty on your roof if you can send me that page or I can contact the Town I Believed at the time of the first repair approxyears ago we were already past the labor warranty on the roof , which I found the chimney to be leaking and still offered my time and servicesYou also mention you had ceilings repaired in your house costing $1000, if you believed that the leaks coming from your roof/chimney was a issue caused by my workmanship why would you not have called or tried to contact me to do the repairs? All this being said I would like a copy of the written contract including all warranties and as in the past have no trouble in trying to help you repair this once again as I would like no ill willBut again as the last stops out which it was determined to be the chimney and its flashing , I can tighten up the flashing and maybe use a more flexible flashing cement on a weekendAlso to clear up another statement in your complaint I never "patched" or did anything to the roof surface when I made the repairs which stopped the leak the last times it was only your chimney and the flashing

First of all the consumer is not my customer, the town of Amherst isI did her roof in and was paid through a grant from the Town of AmherstThe roof had a yr warranty for labor and it is way past the warrantyI did come out to help her years after her warranty expiredAs a courtesy I
advised her that I will do a temporary fix not a complete repair since she stated she did not have any funds to pay for servicesI'm no longer in businessI closed my business down to take a position with the cityI also had to give up my contractor license in order to take the jobThe consumer has posted negative remarks on the internet regarding my business and I will be sending her a letter from my attorney to retract those remarksI will send you a copy of the letter in which I requested from the Town of Amherst that they were the agency that paid me, not her
