THE FACTS#1- [redacted] Seminars has been a member of Revdex.com since 1966, and this is the first complaint ever filed against usOur rating is and has been A+ of which we are most proud.#2- We are always very sorry when someone expresses dissatisfaction with our services and communicate with the student to settle the differencesIn this case different staff members and I have discussed the situation in emails, phone calls, and other meansWe could not come to a suitable settlement, which we regret deeply.#3- The student ordered five Statutory Courses (needed to qualify for the State Brokers Exam) and a Crash Test Prep Course and paid us $400.00, a discount from the regular price of $"Bundled Price".#4- The books supplied for these courses are published by [redacted] ***of Riverside, CAThey are a well respected supplier of text books for many Real Estate Companies, Franchises, Associations, and numerous Real Estate SchoolsTheir books have been approved by the Bureau of Real Estate in California, and they have been in operation since They update the Crash Course every year.#5- The student completed the five courses with no problems and qualified for the State ExamBefore taking the Exam, she attended a LIVE Crash Course near her home on 9/26/16, and then repeated the course two more times on 11/21/and 5/18/For each of these repeats, she paid a charge of $20.00.#6- After she took the exam, she notified us that she got a grade of 74% on the questions, and the passing grade is 75%She missed passing by two questions.#7- It is regretted when someone does not pass the exam no matter what the circumstancesWe allow someone to take the Crash Course again, and if they fail twice, we return their Crash Course fees.#8- The student was angry and stated that there was a problem on two questions that she remembered from the ExamShe said that the answers in the book and the answers online were different, and she remembered using the answers in her book given to her in 2016.#9- When she returned to the Course in 2017, Judy Wagner, the instructor, gave her a new book at no chargeThis book had corrected the answer on these questions and also on the websiteHer reviews of our Crash Course said such things as “Great instructor, very friendly and easy to understand”, “She is amazing, love the way she teaches” and “Love her”So, she was very satisfied in her reviews.#10- The student did not use the new textbook that she was given with the right answers, which we do not understandOur instructor, ***, used the book in the entire 5/18/presentation.#11- She wanted us to pay for her retest fees, travel, hotel, mileage, and extra study timeIn one of her emails she stated that she wanted $540.00.#12- After several emails and phone calls, I offered to pay her all the fees that she paid for the Crash CourseWith the bundling charge discount when she purchased and the extra 10% discount, we calculate that she paid $for the course and then paid $for the two repeatsI offered to pay her $150.00.#13- Shesaid that she would report me to Revdex.com, ***, and post on Lab Coat Agents and [redacted] if I did not pay herIn the Revdex.com complaint, she listed $2,as the disputed amount which was never listed before#14- Further note: On September 19th, the student called our office to ask if a friend could use her books for Statutory Courses with us#15- We believe that we were fair in this case as we gave her the new book when she attended the class, and the instructor taught the May class using the new book [redacted] ***Chief Executive Officer [redacted] Education

Response to Revdex.com Complaint ***As an Education Company we use books from many companies and publish some ourselvesWe use books from three different companiesI take complete responsibility for the books as they are the books that I have elected to use. The book in question is the "California Real Estate License Exam Prep"It is published by Realty Publications, Inclocated in Riverside, CaliforniaThey are a long time Education Publisher, and their books are used by many schools, companies, etc.Since this book is for Examination Preparation it is republished yearlyThis is to make sure that any new laws and regulations, BRE directives, comments from students, editorial corrections and other items are corrected in a timely fashionThis procedure is one of the reasons that we use this text as many publishers do not do thisWhen a student registers for this course, they are sent a bookIf they decide to return and take the course again in the next year, they are given a new book for that year at no costThe instructor instructs the new class with the new book.In this case the student was given a book, and she attended two review courses that yearWhen she returned again in May 2017, she was given the bookAlso, the Website materials were updatedWhen the student failed the test, she stated that one question on the exam that she remembered was different in her book and on the websiteShe was comparing a book to the website.To put this in context; there are questions on the brokers exam and to receive a she got correctShe missed questions not just one.My question is, "Why did she not use the book she was given at her last review?" If she would have used that book, we would not be having this situation.I offered to pay the costs for the course that was $Our guarantee is that if someone fails the exam twice, we refund their feesIf they can't pass, we should not get paidShe passed the second time, but I offered that amountI thought that this was fair considering everything.She said that she wanted $and if I did not pay this, she threatened to notify Revdex.com and send information about our faulty materials to her *** *** ***sThese threats were not proper in my opinionThen, when she sent her complaint to Revdex.com, she raised the settlement amount to over $2,000.00. To illustrate what others think of our materials I would like to add a testimony from another studentThis statement on *** was received the same day we received this Revdex.com rebuttal. At years of age, I closed my business of years as an electrical contractor, moved to Orange County, CA and made a career change to become a licensed realtor I checked out the reviews for a number of on-line schools and found that most had a lot of negative reviews of different types.....except *** *** So I called them After a short but direct phone conversation which answered all of my questions, I signed up with their program I received my books within a few days The course materials and study guides are direct and to the point After completing the required three courses and printing out my certificates, I was ready to prepare for my exam *** *** includes a live one day exam prep class with the program that will help prepare you for your exam I took that class on a Saturday and passed my exam the following Friday What is great about *** *** is that when you have a question, you can always reach and speak to a live person by phone during business hours I took advantage of this during my courses I was able to reach *** on the phone regarding one issue that he resolved on the spot I am very happy and satisfied with my overall experience with *** *** and will do my continuing education with the school moving forward Also the cost of the program is very reasonable and worth every penny AAA+++ to *** ***!!! Also, Realtor Associations in California present classes in-house for their membersOur courses have been used by many of them for years so they obviously recommend our materialsSome of the Associations are in the following areas: Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Redlands, Riverside, Corona, Murrieta, Vista, Chula Vista, Laguna Hills, Anaheim, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Downey, Long Beach, Torrance, Beverly Hills,Walnut, Glendora, Arcadia, West San Gabriel, Burbank, Glendale, Oxnard, Santa Barbara, Van Nuys, Palmdale, Santa Clarita, San Jose, Santa Cruz, Cupertino, San Mateo, Pleasanton, Sacramento, Napa, Santa Rosa, El Cajon, and others. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
To this date, *** *** does not take any responsibility for his faulty material. If he did what action did he take? Did he have a letter or email to his students and letting them know about the issues in his study materials? If he took responsibility for this issue, he would have issued a notification to his students. To my knowledge the laws did not change so the issue with the books were merely mistake. When book was released Mr*** failed to notify the students including me about these mistakes. The books also do not have any notices about the mistakes nor his course teachers do not warn us about these issues either. Why *** *** did not warn students about these mistakes? As I explained 3-times before but since *** keeps asking why I did not use the I answered this many times and one more time, my all study notes were in booksThe real estate law did not change during this time also. *** ***, his instructor, or the books did not warn any of the students about the mistakes in booksI had no reason to change my book from to since they were same book what it looked like and no one warned about faulty study materials... I hope this clears up this timeThere are two questions that I remembered from the first exam which is faulty. Not one. If this will go further, I will be checking all the study materials and see what other faulty materials are in his study material between 2016, and online exams. In response to ***’s comment (My question is, "Why did she not use the book she was given at her last review?" If she would have used that book, we would not be having this situation); if *** *** supplied proper study materials, we would not be having this situation or if *** *** warned about the mistakes in 2016, we would not be having this situation. It is very ignorant to put the blame on the student when he supplies faulty study materials and does not take responsibilityHe offered to pay only for $for the course. Course fee was $400, Test fee was $95, I spent between the hotel, stay in SD and driving for the second test almost $I wasted my two days to go to San Diego which you cannot even put any cost but I assumed $for each day. All together it came up to over $2100. This cost does not include any time for me to study and waste my time for additional two weeks due to his faulty material. Original settlement offer was only for the hotel, driving to SD and test fees which was over $500. This did not include the cost of the course fee, or my time for taking the test again. This as a one time settlement offer at that time. I am sure he understand how time is valuable since he sells his instructors’ time to studentsAgain its not a matter of where you serve or what you do in this business. It is about what you do for your students or your clients. In this case, he failed to give proper notification about their fault study materials. Again to this date, I don’t see that he notified anyone about these mistakes. He keeps stating that money is not a question but keeps bargaining to get out of this problemI did not do anything wrong and he is the one who supplied wrongful test documents and I am the one who wasted additional weeks of time and bunch money. As I did not accept his offer first time, I cannot accept this one too. My counter offer is $to me and $to the national charityI think this more than fair for what it cost me due

With the bundling charge discount when she purchased and the extra 10% discount, we calculate that she paid $110.00 for the course and then paid $40.00 for the two repeats. I offered to pay her $150.00.#13-   Shesaid that she would report me to Revdex.com, [redacted], and post on Lab Coat Agents and [redacted] if I did not pay her.
