I BROUGHT A HYDRAULIC CYLINDER TO DUBAY'S TRACTOR FOR A REBUILDING KIT INSTALLATION. I PICKED UP THE PART , BROUGHT IT HOME , INSTALLED IT AND IT LEAKED WORSE THAN BEFORE . I CALLED THE SERVICE DEPT. AND TALKED TO THE GENTLEMAN WHO DID THE WORK AND WAS TOLD THE PACKING WAS PROBALY OLD AND DRIED OUT , AND HE DID NOT HAVE A TESTER THERE AND COULDN'T TEST IT. I THEN TALKED TO THE OWNER AND WAS TOLD THEY DON'T WARRANTY ANY SERVICE. The job was completed but the unit still leaked. Dubay's Tractor Center is not a specialty cylinder repair facility. In light of this, we are unable to test the cylinder unit to see what else may be required to stop the leaking that you are experiencing. While we completed the job as ordered we realize that it did not rectify the problem as you had expected.Considering the above we have credited your Visa account for $172.51. We will be reviewing our repair policies to establish a protocol to ensure that we do not run into this type of problem again in the future.
