My apologies!Sorry we had a problem.Happy New Year!

30, at 10:AMSubject: ATTN: *** ***, Complaint ID ***To: [email protected] ***,My name is *** *** and my parents' business Dublin Cleaners at *** *** ***, Maple Glen, PA *** (ID ***) received a complaint from a customer and was mailed a letterDue to their lack of English writing abilities, I will be writing on their behalf. On Thursday October 23, my mother, Susan, was working at the store when the customer, *** *** ***, came into the store with shirts, pants and a suede jacket to be cleanedHe also brought with him a coupon for 25% offMy mother speaks English well and explained to him that the coupon only covers dry cleaning and would not cover the cleaning of the suede jacket which must be sent outHe agreed to this, which is documented in the processing of the ordersShe made two separate receipts for himOne with the shirts and pants which she applied the 25% couponThe original total was $for that order which came down to $The other order had the suede jacket for the full price of $where no discount was applied, which the customer had agreed toThe customer was given a copy of both orders (to be presented when picking up orders) and was aware of the final costs of both ordersWhen the customer came to pick up his orders on November 20, my father was working at the storeThe customer brought another 25% coupon, threw it onto the counter, and demanded the 25% coupon be applied to the suede jacketMy father again explained to him that the coupon only covered dry cleaning and pointed out that a coupon was applied to the dry cleaning order, the pants and shirts*** *** *** starts yelling at my father saying he has a bad business and will be spreading the wordMy father told me that the tone and attitude of *** *** was hostile and disrespectful and could tell *** *** treated him in that manner because of his language barrierMy father walked him out with no intent of any sort of physical interactionThe wording of *** ***' writing implies my father would have harmed him, which was stated just to tarnish my father's account and to paint him in a negative light. Our biggest evidence is the invoicesThe fact that *** *** agreed to the initial payment is shown in the ticketing of two separate ordersWhen he dropped off the orders, a customer receipt was given to him with the final pricesIf he had a problem then, he could have taken back his clothes at that point and not utilized my parents' servicesMost of the time, costs of services and any deals are negotiated at drop-off and if customers do not like the pricing, they will usually leave with their orderThis is the way my parents have operated for years and customers have never complained. Now, I have worked as a waitress in the service industry during school and have encountered people, such as *** *** ***, who believe people who serve them, especially immigrants who may not fully grasp the English language, can be manipulated and bullied to their willMy parents work extremely hard and build their business on orders that average $with a low margin of return. The fact that *** *** can afford a suede jacket and the cleaning, yet is upset over a $difference, just shows the petty nature of this dispute. If he is still upset, tell him I personally, as a student, will mail him a check for the disputed amount of $I hope that his complaint will not be posted because there is just no backing to his claims and he is just trying to damage the image of my parents' business. Thank you for your attention to this matterPlease feel free to email me with any other concerns or actions.Thank you,*** ***

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the owners daughter, **. [redacted], has decided to make my complaint a personal matter, rather than make suggestions on how the problem could have been resolved and future problems can be avoided. I would like to present this letter to support my decision.I am presenting this letter in response to the letter you received from Ms. S[redacted], pertaining to my Complaint ID Number [redacted]. Ms. S[redacted] is the daughter of the owners of Dublin Cleaners, located at [redacted], Maple Glen, PA [redacted]. My original complaint was due to Ms. S[redacted]'s father (unknown name) not honoring/accepting my valid 25% off coupon for Dry Cleaning. These are my thoughts on Ms. S[redacted]'s letter. On the day I went into the cleaners, Thursday, October 23, 2014, for the first time, I did take in the clothing Ms. S[redacted] mentioned and I did receive two separate receipts from Ms. S[redacted]'s mother, Susan S[redacted]. Mrs. S[redacted] did explain to me the suede coat needed to be sent out to be cleaned, but she never mentioned the coupon did not pertain to the coat cleaning. There is no indication on the receipts, for the shirts and pants, the price already included the discount. There is nothing on the receipts to distinguish what the amounts represent. I assumed the discount would be applied when I picked-up the items, which was done when I picked-up my shirts and pants, the same as other dry cleaners, I have used, have done. Maybe Mrs. S[redacted] thought she told me about the exclusion, but she didn't. If she had I certainly would have questioned it at the time I was dropping off the coat, because it was a relatively high price for cleaning one coat. Regardless, for Ms. S[redacted] to state I agreed to the amount is totally false. Ms. S[redacted] was not there and can only go on what is being told by her mother, So, either Mrs. S[redacted] is mistaken or Ms. S[redacted] is fabricating this statement to make it sound like it's my fault. On November 20, 2014, I went back to the store to pick-up the coat. I had the same coupon with me since Mrs. S[redacted] did not take the coupon when I placed the original order or picked-up my shirts and pants. I actually still have the original coupon in my possession. It's totally false that I "threw" the coupon on the counter. What reason would I have to do that? Ms. S[redacted]'s father hasn't yet told me he would not accept the coupon. I had actually handed the coupon to Mr. S[redacted]. So again, either Mr. S[redacted] lied to Ms. S[redacted] or Ms. S[redacted] is fabricating another action to try to make me out to be the bad guy. I didn't demand anything. I did try to get an explanation why the coupon wouldn't be accepted and it wasn't my voice that was rising. I never yelled, but Mr. S[redacted] did get loud when I explained to him false advertising wasn't good for a business and I would be advising others what had transpired. I was never hostile or disrespectful and it was actually Mr. S[redacted] who displayed these traits when he followed me out of the store. I was already on my way out when he approached me. I view his actions as being hostile.None of this was about the money difference until Ms. S[redacted] decided to attack my personal character, with the way she decided to write her response letter and attempt to try to represent me as someone I am not. Since Ms. S[redacted] decided to bring in her personal experiences, I guess I have no choice but to do the same thing. Ms. S[redacted] doesn't know me or know anything about me. It's very disrespectful to say someone mistreats "immigrants", especially when there is absolutely no evidence of such behavior. My wife was a so called immigrant, until she became a US citizen and she operates her own honest business. So, for Ms. S[redacted] to say I treat people differently, for any reason, is very rude. The fact that I wanted to do something nice for my wife and take her coat to be dry cleaned is none of Ms. S[redacted]'s business or concern. What type of person says, if you can afford a suede coat and take it out to be cleaned, you shouldn't worry about using coupons. That's just ignorant. So, yes. Since Ms. S[redacted] has decided to make my complaint personal and attack my character, Ms. S[redacted] needs to send the discount difference to the Revdex.com and they can then forward the money to me. But, more importantly, this complaint needs to be posted so that others can make their own decisions about the S[redacted] family and how they operate their business, Dublin Cleaners.
Regards,

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I have said from the beginning, it's not about the money. It's about the deceptive business practices. Please send the check back to the business and post this complaint for all to read about the way this business operates and deals with complaints. It's more important to me for others to be aware of what they could possibly have to deal with when using this business.
Regards,
[redacted]
