The response from the business is very strange and reflects nothing about what actually occurred It's a 'nice', neat, little 'story', but, with NO truth whatsoever. No other 'client' said anything to me, or the hairdresser, (while I was still there), especially regarding how MY hair looked(Unless she's referring to my original visit, which she closed the shop after me; it was just the two of us.) I did compliment her, after my initial visit, because I could see, in the 'front',that she had added the pretty blonde 'color' I had asked for, to match what I already had, growing out The 'boxtop' "picture" I brought to her was simply to show her where the 'blonde' I already had, came from....and to help match it, when she 'touched up' my roots I told her that.. The 'boxtop' had two colors of blonde, actually, showing and I mentioned that I had plenty of the gold-blonde "low-light" and didn't need more of that.As stated in my complaint, after my original visit, it wasn't until I got home, in fact a few days went by, that I noticed how little else she had weaved, other than the 'front; especially, the large blocks of 'outgrowth', on the top, back and some of the sides, of my head, which is what I had gone in there to get done.Additionally, her response claims that I made remarks that I never made I offered several times to pay for 'whatever' she felt (she somehow deserved above and beyond the 'full payment' I had given her already), each time ,that SHE brought up the subject of money. She said over & over, "I know you're not going to pay me for all this 'EXTRA coloring'"(??).....and I responded that that was NOT a problem, but, this was before I realized the damage she was inflicting on my poor hair/head/clothes, etc. All of which was making it obvious to everyone, but her, evidently, who was the one that was being "rude" and "demanding"(again, she acted visibly angry and out of sorts, not professional) I'm sorry this is so long...nevertheless, in order to re-explain this all again, it has to be said....from my side, my observations, this was a person highly agitated from the start, very rude, abusive (she ruined my complete head of hair, turning it orange and gold and some black and RE-bleaching already blonde strands to white) arguing (w/herself?) about her expenses and the money, the money, the money. It did not have to be like this Why couldn't she complete the original weave, effectively, and be done with it? I was soooooooooooooo accomadating My attitude was very cordial and expectant...of a good outcome...after all, I was anticipating more of the same nice coloring she'd started several days prior Not this! Once she had laid solid bleach in long rows completely covering all of my 'roots' (instead of weaving it in and out of just a few (already blonde) hairs, I was so shocked I could hardly respond at all...I was sickened and ready to cry...I felt nauseous! It was like having a surgeon cut off the healthy limb...or, seeing someone 'key' the side of your new car.....there's no going back, no remedy, no reversal possible (Except waiting MONTHS for your hair to grow OUT...and/or paying a fortune toanother salon, to try to fix the damage, as best they can, w/out 'frying' your poor hair) (Both of which I did do, HAD to do; which took another $and many months (Hair normally grows 1/2-1inch a monthif you're lucky) .This was NOT about me "needing money", nor "demanding" anything I was the 'guppy' in her chair, and the victim of her bad mood If she had refused, when I walked in, to honor her phone msg., that she "would be glad to add some more color, if I thought I needed it"I would have had no choice (in my mind), but to leave and go elsewhere, to have the job done right...and yes, pay more Actually, I told her, that I had "planned to get, a more complete "full weave"', but called her first,, to give her the chance, before I went elsewhere, or attempted it myself. The whole purpose was to avoid doing it myself because of my new total shoulder replacement surgery; too painful,......I have a few pictures to attach here, if I can figure out how If need be I will run up to Kinko's and fax them to you My girlfriend took them w/my camera, out in direct sunlight, but you can see thedamage, even after a few days, and even w/oil treatments to 'calm' the split, frazzled, over bleached ends The following week, I went to "***" in Hilliard at the reccomendation of my daughter She tried to fill in the correct color and "low-lights" but she told me it would take several "treatments" and "weaves" over time to get my hair back to 'normal'...w/out having it "break-off". It is not too much to expect, under these conditions she caused, that the DH&NDS give me back every nickle spent there on my "hair disaster", I would like to think. If this were reversed, and I had caused the damage, and I wanted to do the right thing, of course, I would be apologizing and refunding her money(to keep my professional, if not personalintegrity,

I am very thankful I still have the picture this client brought into to me and asked to have the same color done to her hairThe next day she called and wanted more blonde highlights BUT this time brought in a different pictureAfter my job was completed she obviously changed her mind again
because she said to me: "I know I gave you this picture, but it was not exactly what I wanted." That is when I felt the need to take a picture of her hair along with the picture she gave me, as I told her that any further work would incur additional chargesShe then got rude and unreasonableMy other client overheard the conversation and intervened to agree that her hair was beautiful and looked just like the picture she brought inThe picture I took will also show there was absolutely no damage to her hair! If this complaint were valid she would not have waited almost MONTHS before taking actionShe told me she regularly does her own hair to save moneyI believe this is all about her needing money at this time

Thank god I have Carol as a witnessCarol and I were nice to these people from start to finishI knew I should worry about a woman who tells us only at time of payment that she was going to use her boyfriend's credit card to pay for both of their servicesHow was I to really know whose card it
was when her boyfriend was not present but I trusted herNothing on the clients complaint transpiredIf so, why did she write in a $tip and total out the amount? So after receiving this complaint, I went to my credit card records and saw that she had actually used her own cardCarol and I believe this whole thing was a premeditated scam and that she accidentally used her own card, and now wants reimbursedShe did not give us any indication there was a problem last night, or even contact us before filing this complaintServices were rendered, they were obviously satisfied and left a tip, therefore no refund will be issued

Like the last response, this one is also nonsensical! It ignores the 'details' in my complaints, that describe her own odd behaviour and refuses to address the damage to my hair (seen in the photos), that she caused The only "unusual" attitude that I remember, was her's ...and my 'responses' were, probably, to be expected, as the recipient of very unprofessional murmurings and damaging actions. (I protested, "Stop, OMG, what are you doing?!; eeeeck! you're not weaving; you're ruining my hair....I mean, it was BIZARRE!!!!! Shocking! I was helpless AND defenseless..yet,she continued (I'm repeating) Again, my first visit was fine, except for her ignoring everything I said, or requested during the 'consultation' ("please don't put me under the dryer"she did; cooks' my hair) I just let that go (Please don't put any product on the 'already blone ends, just the outgrowth/roots); she did; I let that go So, yes, when I went back for her to finish, I dragged a picture in, out of the same little file, so we might be on 'the same page' this time "Weaving 101"!!The "pictures"were only to confirm, what color and what area, had not been completed the first time...and remind her of the contrasting (low-lite) necessary to break up the 'blonde.' Every "weave" I have EVER HAD DONE, at "***", or "***'s", or wherever.......this has not been a problem; not in yrs of having this done........Except this time! (Was she having a bad day? ...Other complaints? .....Her own business/money problems? I don't know) I do know she took, whatever it was, maybe still is, 'out on me' and won't admit it.The "extra work" she says I wanted for 'free', was simply, our discussion, that any "low-lites were, hopefully, understood to be, my 'natural' color, (like my roots), for contrast Basic stuff....!I explained to her, I had enough of the 2nd 'color' in the picture; reminding her that the 1st color ( the lighter shade), was to put on my roots; w/a few strands of the above in contrast. She had no intention, I see now, of honoring her agreement to add a few moee highlights She never laid out the foils She very, angrily, quickly just started to ruin all of my head of hair leaving me stunned and immobile I could see her other client in the mirror and watched the alarm on her face, too, at what was happening! I've explained all this before......sorry, it's so tedious, but, the service "promised" and "paid for" was NOT RECEIVED!and this wasn't a 'shirt' at the dry-cleaners that was damaged,It's my hair, and intentionally, for 'spite'?!....And it hasn't been 7months, not yet......end of April/May....to June was (1)month of scrambling to figure out how to repair the damage w/out 'frying' my poor hair or having it fall out.June-July (2nd) four weeks, I had to pay another $100.00*, to attempt to add, the properappropriate 'color' back in, but it wouldn't take well, and causing more 'breakage'.By the (3rd) month, my hair had grown out a little, and the "fried, split-ends" I was left with were trimmed; about an inch all over....but, I have never had "3-inch" layers, all over, ever! (Well maybe in the "80's")In September, by the Wedding, months later, "UGLY" is what my daughter said about my (normally pretty) hair Once more I attempted a 'fix', as best I could More $$, more time and effort to reverse"Dublin Hair and Nails", $distruction It's still ongoing....takes forever for MY hair to grow out(maybe 1/4-1/2inch a month...and what kind of a 'solution' is that for her to suggest...It's "all grown out and trimmed off, by now" anyway", she says???? That's her 'answer'???????...(I can only guess that she's not got too many 'regular' returning customers)First to do a 'partial' instead of a 'full-service'; then to seek 'revenge' on me, and my hair, when asked for completion; then to deny a problem, slander the ''messenger' (complaint) and 'make-up' somefictional story, that makes her the recipient of, or victim of, some, bad-mannered, "unusual" client, is beyond me how she stays in business at all with such rude & incoherrant responses What's a person to do in this situation? I realize not everyone would understand, or care to, the 'hair' thing (unless you've been there)..but, just simply as a business practice; this can't be very good policy for success or even fairness.Tomorrow, I will fax or email you my 'cheque' carbon and any other receipts I've kept I was so 'blown-away'by the 'end-product', I tried real hard to forget about it......except, there it was, every morning in the mirror...this mess of orange, gold, white, black, brown, blonde hair, staring at me .A refund hardly, seriously, even begins to cover, the long,-still-ongoing, effects of the damage she caused In how I looked, and in time, money, stress,..even the effort to file a complaint, first timein my life... Thru the summer, (Jun-Jul-Aug) I was still dealing w/the 'outcome' and attempts at a " fix", in defeat; determined not to even attempt to solve someone else's mental health issues (in my opinion)She has had the luxury? of getting away w/badgering a patron, who dared to request "more", ..all while keeping the money, for faulty 'work'! If she had done such a "beautiful" job, there would be NO COMPLAINT (or need for me to have undo the damage)Meanwhile...I am no less disturbed by the whole thing than back when it happened...and I'm the one much poorer for it.......not her It just took me awhile, to decide, to seek some kind of justice, before too much MORE time went by; small amount that it is. I trust this (my) nightmare will soon be over with and can be chalked up to lesson learned; "NEVER go back, for your money's worth", no matter what! Thank you for your time assistance in this matter (and the whole of your morning to read this; sorry!)

As I stated in my last response, I felt this woman was a bit unusual and thought I should take a picture of HER and HER hair. This picture I took was taken after her second and LAST visit. As she admitted in her last response letter, I said I would be "glad" to put more highlights In but when she came back with a different picture I felt the need to tell her  I would have to charge her more money if she  came back again with yet another "different" picture and that's when she became very unusual. After 35 years owning my business and loving my occupation as a color and cut specialist, I have never heard of anyone asking for their money back 7 months later!! Her hair had 3 inch layers and with regular trims all of her I colored would have been cut off by now!
