Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: What Mr*** fails to mention is that *** Credit Union has tried to pay Dublin Volkswagen on two occasionsWe can document that Dublin VW received a check from *** Credit Union on 6/2/which the dealer claims that they "lost"The dealer then proceeded to set up a loan on 6/3/with Capital One Auto Finance with this loan funding on 6/5/In other words, Dublin VW failed to accept the check from *** on a pretext so that they could set up a loan with Capital OneDublin VW never contacted me or *** to indicate that they were setting up a loan with a different lenderNo one is saying that Dublin VW should not paid for the vehicleHowever, since Dublin VW created this mess by setting up a loan with Capital One without informing me or informing *** I ended up with two loans on the same vehicleI do not believe it is ethical for Dublin VW to manipulate the lending process in this mannerI would also point out that *** cancelled the first check (issued 6/2/2017) and issued a second check on 6/16/So *** has attempted to pay for this vehicle twice! It is important to note that *** sent a check of $17,while the amount on the contract was $19,This was due to my desire to cancel the warranty that I signed up for at $However, Dublin VW has trouble using this as a reason to justify setting up the Capital One loan since they "lost" the *** check and, supposedly, had no idea what was on the original checkIn summary, Dublin VW manipulated the financing of this vehicle in order to use the lender of their choice rather than *** Credit UnionAt this point I am convinced that *** *** and Dublin VW will never cancel the Capital One loan but I will continue try to expose these unethical practices to the appropriate agencies.Sincerely,*** * *** ***

I have talked to Mr. [redacted] in length about his concern. He wants the Capital One loan dismissed without paying the vehicle in full by other means- We can’t simply dismiss a loan without full...

payment for the balance of his agreed sales contract.  I’m sure you understand we would need full payment in order to do so.
 
We have submitted his warranty for cancellation as he has requested.
 
This should close his case- we have also explained to him he can have his credit union pay off his capital one loan. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.
