I have used Duct & Vent Cleaning of America on several occasions. Michael Vinick was able to schedule duct cleaning in a medical building on a weekend so as not to disturb the medical practices. Their pricing is very fair and they completed the work on schedule. We highly recommend Duct & Vent Cleaning of America.

Dryer vent cleaning procedure was inadequate and resulted in the clogging of the dryer vent completely. They made it MORE dangerous - not clean!Duct and Vent Cleaning of America was scheduled to clean my dryer vent on September 27th, 2013. It is important to note that my dryer vent is at least 12-15 feet long. The technician attempted to clean the vent with a large pipe brush. He used this brush first from the inside access point, and then from the outside access point. This procedure resulted in jamming the lint etc. together in the middle of the duct work. The resulting clog was discovered for the first time on April 12th, 2014. I contacted the company regarding the issue and their response is that because it has been 6-7 months that they would have to charge me for the service. I understand the purpose of such a policy, however, it is clear that the build up would not happen naturally in the last 6-7 months. In examining the build up, the clog is at least 8 feet into the house from the outside exhaust point. Looking into the exhaust point, the clog appears as a dead-end - as if looking down a pipe with a cap at the end. Moreover, between that clog and the exhaust hole on the outside of the house, the vent is clean! This means it is clearly the result of the technician's work - not a natural build up over the last 6-7 months. Desired SettlementDuct and Vent Cleaning of America needs to send a more experienced technician to my house and finish the job! I will not pay anything additional since the job was not completed the first time in September. In September, I paid for the dryer vent to be cleaned. Instead of being cleaned, the vent was clogged and therefore made more hazardous than before they arrived. The company is lucky (as is my family!) that my house has not burnt down over the winter!Business Response Upon being contact by Mr. [redacted] and learning more about the job on April 14th we sent a crew out to his home on April 16th. While recleaning the dryer vent another problem was found. We sent a project manger out on April 23rd. Once the we determine was the issue was,a second manager was sent out on April 25th. The dryer vent was completly cleaning and reattached and back to functioning properly. All repairs were made and Mr. [redacted] was satisfied with all completed work
