Dear *** ***,
We received your claim on Oct6th, that was dated 9/26/Our contract states that all claims must be made in writing within days after delivery(see #on front of
contract) We received this claim almost two months after deliveryWith that said you did note three items that were damaged at the completion of the moveUnfortunately, the items listed would fall under your $dedcutible(see back bottom of contract) Those were the only items noted when you signed stating all articles were received in good condition (see front of contract)Also, dirt on a mattress is considered wear and tear (see back of contract #2-D)
We do apologize for any mishaps and inconveniences that may have occurred during the moving process.

Attached please find the Insurance form that Mrs*** signed before her move startedThis form indicates she wanted the basic insuranceAlso we have included the letter that was mailed to her responding to the claim she submitted We stand by this letter saying her claim is under the

We have had a number of emails with *** *** and we stand behind our last email to herHello ***My husband and I discussed the service that was provided to us by your companyWe were not very pleased with the fact that our belongings were delivered to us by people that were hired by some unknown
agencyWe did not know their credentials or if they were background checked ..etcI understand that your driver was there but the other two gentleman were not professional movers by any meansThey did not know what they were doingWe paid an extremely high price (in our opinion) and we didn't get professional service. We were told that your drivers and workers would be with our furniture from the pickup to the drop offThis was not the case. If we would have known this ahead of time, we would have hired people on our own and paid 1/of what you charged usThis is not the service we were expecting as had previously been discussed.Please let us know what can be done to rectify this.*** *** *** *** ***Actually YOU told me that the same crew that loads will be with my furniture the whole time and will be unloading at my destinationThis was told to me when you were at my home and this was the main reason we selected this companyThe economics of it is not my issue as this is not my businessAs far as what this other company does or doesn't do is not my concern eitherI was not paying them and had no business relationship with them whatsoeverI was told one thing and received another. Our driver stated that the workers did what was asked of them and worked diligently through out the unload. To our knowledge the unload went as expected, and there was no damageAlmost every moving company does not send full crews across country to help unloadIt just simply is not economical.We do hope all is well in your new home.Regency Moving

We are not questioning whether or not the packeditems were damaged or not but per our signed contract we go by the insurancethat was chose by the customer before the move beganIn Ms*** case shechose standard insurance at no extra chargeWith this insurance selection shewas limited to
cents per pound per article and a max of $per itemWesent a letter explaining this to Ms***Most people who choose thestandard insurance do so because they go thru their own comprensive coverage.Please see the signed form enclosed.Because of the reasons stated we stick to ourright to utilize the insuranceTherefore we stand behind our original letter.Thanks,*** ***
