agency. We did not know their credentials or if they were background checked ..etc. I understand that your driver was there but the other two gentleman were not professional movers by any means. They did not know what they were doing. We paid an extremely high price (in our opinion) and we didn't get professional service.  We were told that your drivers and workers would be with our furniture from the pickup to the drop off. This was not the case.  If we would have known this ahead of time, we would have hired people on our own and paid 1/4 of what you charged us. This is not the service we were expecting as had previously been discussed.Please let us know what can be done to rectify this.[redacted]Actually YOU told me that the same crew that loads will be with my furniture the whole time and will be unloading at my destination. This was told to me when you were at my home and this was the main reason we selected this company. The economics of it is not my issue as this is not my business. As far as what this other company does or doesn't do is not my concern either. I was not paying them and had no business relationship with them whatsoever. I was told one thing and received another. I was not happy with the service I received regardless of what your driver said. We paid top dollar for professional service and that is what we expected to get. There actually was some damage but I remember signing some paper that stated some damage cannot be helped. (Which is unbelievable by the way but of course this is given to people on the day of moving which most people are obviously in a time sensitive situation)If your boss is not interested in making this right, I will be forced to report this in other ways. I will be reporting this issue with Revdex.com as well as other sites.[redacted] wrote:[redacted], We have read your email throughly and understand your concerns. When you booked your move with our company you were told that part of the crew loading in Midlothian would unload in Methuen. This was the case. The non Regency employees came from a highly respected company that is nationwide. This company completes there own background checks and has their own insurance.  Our driver stated that the 2 workers did what was asked of them and worked diligently through out the unload.  To our knowledge the unload went as expected, and there was no damage. Almost every moving company does not send full crews across country to help unload. It just simply is not economical.We do hope all is well in your new home.Regency Moving

I was told that we were going to get professional service but we did not receive this. The workers that were hired by some unknown company were not professional at all and did not know what they were doing. I do not believe this is the right way to conduct business.

We are not questioning whether or not the packeditems were damaged or not but per our signed contract we go by the insurancethat was chose by the customer before the move began. In Ms. [redacted] case shechose standard insurance at no extra charge. With this insurance selection shewas limited to 60...

cents per pound per article and a max of $50.00 per item. Wesent a letter explaining this to Ms. [redacted]. Most people who choose thestandard insurance do so because they go thru their own comprensive coverage.Please see the signed form enclosed.Because of the reasons stated we stick to ourright to utilize the insurance. Regency will not accept that they did not pack item with any sort of care.  If they advertise that they are packers, this is a misrepresentation to consumers.
