needed repairs. We settled the threatened lawsuit with her attorney on August 18, 2015, by purchasing an extended warranty through [redacted] of Murraysville, PA. On August 18" Dudley's paid $499 for this warranty, and also extinguished the promissory note that she had failed to pay. The total compensation paid by Dudley's was $833.25 in order to resolve her complaint. We do not feel it is appropriate for [redacted] to file a new complaint with Revdex.com as this matter was under threatened litigation and was fully settled on August 18, 2015, through her attorney, [redacted].Attached is a copy of my email to her attorney, my letter to [redacted], the extended warranty and our check stub for $499 in payment of the Warranty. [redacted]'s other allegations are totally untrue and without merit.Regards,Dear [redacted],Attached are the documents I sent to [redacted] yesterday by Priority Mail. They should get them by tomorrow. Although the warranty should be in effect after tomorrow, it would probably be a good idea to not attempt to submit an immediate claim in order to give them a chance to put the vehicle into their computer system. In an effort to ease her concerns about the cost of possible future repairs, we had offered [redacted] this [redacted] warranty on July 17th, dating the warranty as of June 25th, the date of the sale. I told her that we would activate it as soon as she paid Dudley Motors the $334.25 owed on the pickup note. She had promised to make this payment on or before July 25th, but failed to do so, which is why we did not activate the warrantyAs you know, [redacted] agreed to activate the warranty following a fresh inspection, which we conducted yesterday. We also performed a complimentary oil change because we found that the crankcase was one quart overfilled. Our cost on this warranty was $499, which we paid with the submission of the attached documents. I trust you realize that we have been acting in good faith to try and resolve [redacted]'s concerns. This 04 [redacted] is a great running low mileage car that should last her a longtime providing she properly maintains it, monitors the fluid levels, and changes the oil regularly. I trust that activating this warranty will help alleviate her concerns about the cost of possible future repairs.Best regards, Chuck W[redacted]@dudleymotors.com [redacted]
