I am rejecting this response because: the building inspector came out today and put a stop working order on ecoview The windows are not acceptable Regards, [redacted]

Ms [redacted] was told early evening that [redacted] would call her before 9:00am on July 1, Ms [redacted] was called before 9amA message was left, her windows were to be delivered to office on July 2, She was asked to call office to set install on message left

Window installation is scheduled for July 16, The job should only take one day, If it takes two days, job still will be comple [redacted] by July 17, This if weather permits I allowed till end of July only if weather, illness on either parties comes into the time frame

Have tried to contact [redacted] Monday April ,and Tuesday April 14, Asked for someone to return call, would like to complete job Our production manager states the windows are to code, They need to be completed with trim

The refund was approved yesterday, 3/10/and a check in the amount of $will be mailed out to [redacted] *** this week

I am rejecting this response because:
We have had two other window companies out there We understand about refitted windows, but most of them clearly do not fit the space They were measured wrong Today the building inspector is coming to the house to inspect We will have more information then One company even asked if they could take pictures to show clients who were thinking of going with EcoView Some can be filled but others cannot Also all the front windows came in with the wrong grid pattern A picture was sent to *** in corporate as to the correct grids when ordering What is the excuse for the wrong pattern arriving Thank youJanet ***

Would like for Mror Ms*** to talk to someone from Ecoview about how we may resolve these issuesHave left messages to be returned

We have been actively working with the ***'s to complete the installation of their windows Any retrofit window may have a gap on the bottom and/or sides All windows are installed according to Florida Building Code Depending on the size of the gap, it is then caulked,
filled with insulation and new trim is put over top to cover the gap This is how all retro fit windows are installed This has been explained to Mr*** numerous times and he is not accepting the explanationHe has emailed our office pictures of the windows that have been installed (but not trimmed, caulked, etc.) and the pictures are all within the range of how a retrofit window looks before final trimWe have called Mr*** this past weekend and today to come over and finish the installation

Ecoview would set install for any day that was convenient for Mr***Mr *** knew two windows were missing before we did install. When windows arrived Ecoview was short two windows, we called factory, they were showing windows were
shipped We signed off as two were missingThis caused a delay in receiving windows as factory had to trace windows When window arrive in office, we will work with Mr *** to set up an install that works with his schedule . When office spoke with Mr *** this morning , he did not bring up these issues

I ordered windows on October 10, and today is January 6, I was told that my windows would be installed in 6-weeks That would have been December at the latest In the time since around Thanksgiving, we started calling them to see when they would be here We were always rudely told that it takes 6-weeks I finally found out on January that my windows weren't even ordered until December Despite us checking on the status of the order in November, the customer service representative told us they were ordered and on their way, but they were not Communication is horrible and I still have no idea when my windows will be here and installed Buyer beware and stay away from this company

I am rejecting this response because: The response provided to the Revdex.com does not represent the information provided to us. *** from Ecoview confirmed on 7/that the windows were on their shipment arriving 7/and would be installed on 7/and the installation comple*** that day or by the eob on 7/17/2015. That these windows would include upgrades to the windows to compensate us on the inconvenience of this issue. No mention was made that it could take to 7/30/2015, and that is not agreeable to us. We expect the windows to be installed, as promised by 7/17/2015. If not installed by then, we will consider this to again be a breach of the agreement, and will continue with the dispute

The check was finally receive Saturday, July 18, 2015.

Called Mr. [redacted] July 22, 2015 Told him Ecoview would have windows in two weeks , He said if not in within one week he wanted refund, Offered him  $87.50 refund to give company one extra week. He was to talk to Ms. [redacted] and call back .  On back of contract it states, although we...

cannot guarantee how long process takes, as windows are custom made, time is usually 6-8 weeks. We are at 8 week time now, Ms. [redacted] called back same day.   She said she wanted refund. it was pointed out to her the expense company had incurred. Windows are custom made company pays once windows are ordered even if we do not use windows, also told her expense of permit. She said she called  building inspector and there had not been a permit bought for her home. At this time checked and permit was issued for her home, called her back , told her permit was issued offered to give her permit number.  There is 25% charge after three day right to cancel as company has purchased permit and custom ordered windows.  Ms. [redacted] was also told on July 22, 2015, with her wanting to cancel,  if  decide to go forth with windows, after she wanted to cancel, there would be further delay as company stops, everything until this is resolved.

This is a response to the complaint filed against Ecoview of Jacksonville. We have spoke with Mr. and Mrs. Hill. We have scheduled an install date of July 16, 2015. The job should be comple[redacted] by July 30, 2015.
