We received complaint on 9/28/15 from [redacted]. Here is the explanation from our end. Patient had 2 dates of service in question, 3/2/15 and 3/9/15Date of service 3/2/15, patient had exam and x-rays. The claim was sent to [redacted] 3 times 3/2/15, 4/24/15 and 6/3/15. The claim finally...
paid on 6/26/15, 3 months later. The claim total was $231, insurance paid $80, leaving a balance for patient of $151. Which still outstanding.Date of service 3/9/15, patient had extractions. Insurance billed 3 times, no response from ins, 8/19 Insurance called and said we were using the wrong ID #, re billed with new info. On 9/18/15 Received EOB form [redacted] stating that they do not pay for extractions, no payment was received. Total claim for extraction was $592, insurance paid 0, patient had paid $354 at time of appointment, balance due $238.Interesting that we billed the first claim with the wrong ID# and it got paid.DuHamel Family Dentistry is not a contracted provider with [redacted], it is very hard to get any info out of them. Statements were sent to patient each month. NOTHING was reported to TRW. It has been 7 months and balance is still outstanding.
Review: Currently received a 90 day past due notice from Duhamel family dentistry. after calling Duhamels several times and [redacted] my insurance company told me they submitted the wrong group #, and again they submitted the wrong plan number so my claim was denied payment. Duhamel has told me again and again that they cannot talk directly with [redacted].when I call [redacted] they tell me that Duhamels statement of cannot talk is not true. several times I have tried to resolve this with Duhamels office but I am looking at a 90 day past due notice that is a ding on my credit report because they can't submit a for to my insurance company properly.Desired Settlement: submit forms properly, remove past due notice from my credit report, remove late fees incurred.
