In regards to Mr. And Mrs [redacted] , move   in question , from the original quote to the actual charge. The physical amount of work was justified to the charges . Duke city movers bent over backwards to complete the job accordingly to the estimate . The door of the small safe was removed as per Mr. [redacted] in order to move the safe out of the closet Says Workers who moved the safe. The piano keys did get stuck during the move . We did not check to see if they were properly working , therefore send a check for $ 100.00. Mrs [redacted] kept mailing us certified letters rather than contacting us via phone. The [redacted] could have resolved this matter quickly and directly but choose to contact the Revdex.com . The situation could have been handled in a more civil manor . This was something that could have been an easy resolution . Still yet to here from Mr. Or Mrs [redacted] directly. This was not a dollar amount merely the point in case.I would still respect a direct call. To finalize or remedy the awkward situation .Thank you , Richard

In response to the [redacted] residence relocation .([redacted] and [redacted] )Mrs [redacted] called the office several times for a ballpark quote over the phone, myself Richard M[redacted] and employee Joseph B[redacted] drove to the [redacted] residence prior to the move for a visual estimate. The residence was in sandia...

park on a very steep drive. The home was a three story residence . Originally I told Mrs [redacted] the job would be approximately $4,000 dollars. It would take at least six men and a 28' freight liner . Mr and Mrs [redacted] had two safes a baby grand piano and a lot of oversize household goods. There were also items in small confined storage areas in the downstairs area where the office was located. The desk had to be disassembled . The larger safe had to be pulled from downstairs around the house through a dirt pathway. It took six men to struggle through the ordeal . After haggling back and forth I agreed to do the move for the 3500 dollars less tax as their senior discount . The wardrobe boxes would not fit due to the amount of furniture . I advised Mrs [redacted] I would get them to her at a later day.the closets were not equipped to hang clothing. A lot of furniture had been moved prior to the move, therefore causing blockage to where one of the safes was to be placed. We had to clear a path and ultimately placed the safe. A few keys on the Baby grand got stuck in place . I advised Mrs [redacted] we would pay for them to be fixed. Back to the small safe employee B[redacted] was instructed by mr [redacted] to remove the door from the safe not knowing the locking mechanism would remain locked. The destination was on a very tall hill . Several items had to be walked down the hill for storage.after all was moved from the truck to storage , overall the move was completed. Mrs [redacted] advised us he granddaughter but some cheeseburgers and a small birthday cake which was very thoughtful and appreciated by myself and the men.mrs [redacted] was very pleasant entertaining the men with jokes. They are a very nice family , all household goods were padded and stretch wrapped for safety measures which is a daily procedure . We wish the [redacted] family best wishes in the new residence . The additional cost requested would have been covered if they would have given is the opportunity to respond to each situation, we    work hard for each and every customer and give it our all.Thank you , Richard

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because there are several things stated in his letter that are not correct. Some are of of little significance, but others are completely incorrect.1.Our residence where the initial "visual estimate"was made is in Cedar Crest NM ,not Sandia Park NM.2.There was no " haggling" for the fee he was charging. His first dollar quote was $5,000.00 because, quote "there are a lot of things, boxes, bins in the storage room",so when I told him that we were moving those ourselves, his fee went down to $3,500.00.We had everything tagged so he knew what he was supposed to load.In fact I asked him to write things down, but he said he had a good memory.3.Wardrobe boxes;he contradicted himself by saying that the boxes would not fit in the truck, then he says that he would bring them at a later date.As it turned out we waited for 39 days to get them and did the packing ourselves. We are basing the $250.00 charges to him for that work that we did from two(2) moving companies that we contacted. They would have charged us $400.00 to $500.00 for that work.We think that $250.00 is pretty fair.4.The safe;it was damaged during the handling/moving by his company,we had to have it repaired and that's that.We had to pay $136.66.This is a "I said,he said" but it all boils down that it was damaged by his men as they were handling it.5.The piano keys became stuck during the shipment. It was fixed. We were charged $70.00. Mr. [redacted] sent a check for $100.00.Thank you.We contacted this company repeatedly  by phone and postal mail to no avail. Mr.[redacted] refused all consideration of making restitution for our expenses and the work that we had paid him to do and we ended doing the work ourselves. We are asking that he pay us:   $250.00 for packing of the wardrobe boxes                                              $136.66 for the repair of the safe                                               _______                                 Total      $386.66                                          -   $ 30.00 overpayment of piano tuning                                              ______                           Total owed us $ 356.66This is the reason we are rejecting the response,Mr.[redacted] owes us money.
