I find this complaint to be completely and not a true account of what actually occurredMold resistant sheetrock was installed in the shower areaAfter it was installed the homeowner stated that he knew it was fine but would feel more comfortable having cement board installedWithout any sort of hesitation, I agreed to replace it at no additional cost to himThe floor was prepped properlyA Hardie Backboard was installed with the proper screws and the proper spacingThe elevation difference was explained to the homeowner and a trim piece that I proposed was presented and approved to be usedThe grout in the tub was sealed and this was never presented as an issue to meThe floor tiles that were loose were repaired immediately and without hesitationI would rather not continue with countering each point that was presented in the complaint. What did occur is that after each and every day of working I received emails and text messages from the homeowner stating how much they loved how everything looked and the quality of the workIn order to enhance the look, I did approximately $1,of extra work without charging themOnce the bathroom was nearly complete, they requested to have the floor that was installed for approximately weeks raised and demanded that I provide them a new saddle as well which was not in the contract to be replacedIn order to raise the floor, the vanity, toilet, base board heater, base molding, trim pieces that were installed at the saddle and tub, and tile would all have to be removed and then installedI attempted to work with them to come up with some solutions which proved to be uselessI then advised the homeowners that if they weren't willing to cover the cost to have all of these items removed and reinstalled the only other option was to complete the bathroom as originally planned in the contract and they opted to have me finish the bathroom as planned in the contractRegardless of what occurred, I have spoken to the homeowners since then and we have agreed to go our separate ways and they agreed to not continue to pursue any sort of complaints or other actions

sort of hesitation, I agreed to replace it at no additional cost to him. The floor was prepped properly. A Hardie Backboard was installed with the proper screws and the proper spacing. The elevation difference was explained to the homeowner and a trim piece that I proposed was presented and approved to be used. The grout in the tub was sealed and this was never presented as an issue to me. The floor tiles that were loose were repaired immediately and without hesitation. I would rather not continue with countering each point that was presented in the complaint. What did occur is that after each and every day of working I received emails and text messages from the homeowner stating how much they loved how everything looked and the quality of the work. In order to enhance the look, I did approximately $1,500 of extra work without charging them. Once the bathroom was nearly complete, they requested to have the floor that was installed for approximately 2 weeks raised and demanded that I provide them a new saddle as well which was not in the contract to be replaced. In order to raise the floor, the vanity, toilet, base board heater, base molding, trim pieces that were installed at the saddle and tub, and tile would all have to be removed and then installed. I attempted to work with them to come up with some solutions which proved to be useless. I then advised the homeowners that if they weren't willing to cover the cost to have all of these items removed and reinstalled the only other option was to complete the bathroom as originally planned in the contract and they opted to have me finish the bathroom as planned in the contract. Regardless of what occurred, I have spoken to the homeowners since then and we have agreed to go our separate ways and they agreed to not continue to pursue any sort of complaints or other actions.
