Again, we are sorry *** *** is not happy with the outcome of his kitchen. We have continued to try and contact *** *** to resolve the issues, but he refuses to answer the phone, return calls or answer the door.Let me address the refrigerator first. Dulles Kitchen and Bath offered to help ** *** with the appliances. ** *** decided he wanted to take care of the appliances on his own. ** *** was involved in the design process and was well aware of the many of the design issues that would/could arise due to some of the decisions he was making. As with all of our customers, we give advice and warnings when we see potential problems. ** *** was made well aware of the lack of space for the refrigerator. ** *** was also given a copy of the kitchen layout with necessary dimensions, PRIOR to him selecting a refrigerator. If *** *** refrigerator doesnt fit, that is wholly on him.As for the rest of the issues that he mentions, Dulles Kitchen and Bath has not been allowed to properly assess the alleged issues. Dulles Kitchen and Bath offers all customers a year warranty on our work. Had *** *** made the kitchen available, we would have fixed the issues so as not to have a dissatisfied customer, or have to deal with this tedious process. I am concerned that *** *** may be trying to game the system but filing complaints with the Revdex.com as well as *** *** asking for a $5,from EACH of these organizations. ** *** had a very meager budget for this project which we were able to work with, though not easily. My concern is that ** *** may be suffering from buyers remorse and is fraudulently trying to recoup some of his money

We are sorry ** *** is unhappy with the work In terms of the pictures that were submitted; these pictures were taken during the renovation process. The issues were brought to Dulles K&B’s attention and all necessary repairs were made at that time. Again, the problems
were corrected making the pictures provided null and voidAll work that was up preformed was up to current county codeWe are unaware of any issues with as pertaining to code and would be happy to make the necessary repairs** *** has not provided us with any information about possible violations. At this point it is all hearsayIn Dulles Kitchen and Baths last meeting, ** *** expressed some displeasure with the overall process of the renovation. Though Dulles Kitchen and Bath feels the project was done to spec and with a good overall outcome, we decided to forgo the final payment of $2580.00. We never want a customer to feel dissatisfied with a project done by Dulles Kitchen and Bath. This gesture was done out of goodwill, not as an admission of guilt

I am rejecting this response because:The business's response completely mistated the factsThey incorrectly indicated that the pictures I uploaded "were taken during the renovation process. The issues were brought to Dulles K&B’s attention and all necessary repairs were made at that time. Again, the problems were corrected making the pictures provided null and void." This is an untrue statement. The pictures show the kitchen as it is currently, with the following explanations: the picture of the refrigerator was taken during the installation of the appliance, however, the issue was NOT fixedThey did NOT fix the mis-measured countertop or the warped cabinetInstead, they cut out a portion of the drywall on the opposite side of the refrigerator in an attempt to make the appliance fitThis was not an adequate fix, as the cabinet is still warped, and the dishwasher does not fit properly. I also had to hire a plumber to stop the leaks under the sink, but again, that was not fixed by Dulles Kitchen and Bath. In regards to the other pictures, they are exactly as the kitchen is now, and the issues shown in them were never addressed by Dulles Kitchen and Bath. Regards,
