This student enrolled at DBU on 1/3/2017, and took three classes in two quarters She received grants and loans to help offset the cost of attending. She dropped on 6/4/2017. On 7/18/we announced are closing in an email to all students The student contacted us on 10/26/
inquiring about receiving her tuition back. She was not a current student at that time we announced our closing, and she had no intention of returning to DBU. DBU is and has been accredited by the Accredit Council for Independent Colleges and Schools We are closing because we did not see the possibility of gaining reaccreditation when our current accreditation ends in June of I explained to her that we are not at liberty to just return her money to her since federal financial aid was involved. I let her know that if she was looking at transferring to another school that we would help her work with the school of her choice in the transfer of credits. We have been working with other students and so far have been successful in getting there credits transferred. She did not want to do thatShe was told she could appeal her case to the Campus Director, which is the next step in our resolution dispute policy
