When my ice-maker stopped working in my refrigerator I contacted Maytag's service department and they set me up with Dun-Rite Appliance Repair, IncI called on a Friday and I was happy that they were able to provide me with a service appointment for Monday from 10am-2pmPaul showed up around 11am and had a brief look at my refrigeratorHe said that parts needed to be ordered and they would return later in the week when the parts came inTuesday I got a call and they told me they would come back on Wednesday between 12-to finish the job Paul showed up around 3pm and started to install the new ice makerin about an hours time he was finished with one small problem...the ice drawer would not close properlyPaul then tried to configure it differently to see if that would make a difference, but no such luckHe then told me I have options, leave it like it is or he'd put the old broken one back inReally?!?! Leave the drawer so it doesn't close properly?? Are you kidding me what kind of repair man are you? The Half *** kind apparentlySo I told him he can't leave me with a drawer that will not closeI only imaged the ice melting in the drawer and leaving me with on big block of ice that would cause more problemsOr the door not being able to shutWhatever the case not the right way to fix this applianceThey didn't charge me a dime for their time and Paul stormed out of my house without even saying anythingI had to shout after him, "What am I suppose to do now"? His reply was , "I'll research it on the internet and get back to you"The next day around pm I gave them a call back to see if any progress was madeI didn't speak with Paul directly but the man I did speak to was very curt with meHe told me that there was nothing they could do for meI even suggested to them the part Maytag shipped to them might have been boxed wrong and they should call the company to confirm they had the right partThis man wanted no part of working with me for the solution and replied "MAYBE WE'RE NOT THE COMPANY YOU SHOULD BE WORKING WITH"Rude, rude, rude and more rudeI will never work with this company ever again and recommend any consumer out there go elsewhere for their appliance repair services

When my ice-maker stopped working in my refrigerator I contacted Maytag's service department and they set me up with Dun-Rite Appliance Repair, Inc. I called on a Friday and I was happy that they were able to provide me with a service appointment for Monday from 10am-2pm. Paul showed up around 11am and had a brief look at my refrigerator. He said that parts needed to be ordered and they would return later in the week when the parts came in. Tuesday I got a call and they told me they would come back on Wednesday between 12-4 to finish the job. Paul showed up around 3pm and started to install the new ice maker. in about an hours time he was finished with one small problem...the ice drawer would not close properly. Paul then tried to configure it differently to see if that would make a difference, but no such luck. He then told me I have 2 options, leave it like it is or he'd put the old broken one back in. Really?!?! Leave the drawer so it doesn't close properly?? Are you kidding me what kind of repair man are you? The Half [redacted] kind apparently. So I told him he can't leave me with a drawer that will not close. I only imaged the ice melting in the drawer and leaving me with on big block of ice that would cause more problems. Or the door not being able to shut. Whatever the case not the right way to fix this appliance. They didn't charge me a dime for their time and Paul stormed out of my house without even saying anything. I had to shout after him, "What am I suppose to do now"? His reply was , "I'll research it on the internet and get back to you". The next day around 5 pm I gave them a call back to see if any progress was made. I didn't speak with Paul directly but the man I did speak to was very curt with me. He told me that there was nothing they could do for me. I even suggested to them the part Maytag shipped to them might have been boxed wrong and they should call the company to confirm they had the right part. This man wanted no part of working with me for the solution and replied "MAYBE WE'RE NOT THE COMPANY YOU SHOULD BE WORKING WITH". Rude, rude, rude and more rude. I will never work with this company ever again and recommend any consumer out there go elsewhere for their appliance repair services.
