Dunbar Electric Inc

gave me an estimate for rewire a whole house. It was very reasonable, but I havent had the work done yet. [redacted] did some small jobs, fair price, on time. Great guy!

My building, [redacted], uses Dunbar as they're preferred Electricians. I called to set up an appointment to have a simple outlet installed. They had nothing available for 1 week - fine. I schedule a day, and they said someone would call me the day before to schedule a time frame. No one called me and no one came the following day - good thing I didn't wait up.

I call them back to reschedule for the following week. We schedule a time the day prior, and I came home from under the impression the guy would be there at 3:30. No one showed up as the electrician "hit heavy traffic". Given you can't do work in residential apartments after 5pm, he didn't come. I call the following day to re-schedule. LUCKILY I was home from work the next friday and tried to schedule an electrician. They said they were booked solid. I told them I got stood up the day before and refused to accomodate me.

I would avoid them at all costs. Regardless of their skill, their customer service is horrendous and they are not customer focused whatsoever. Amazing to me how these companies stay in business. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.
