I am writing this letter in response to Revdex.com ID#*** *** car was brought into our shop on 03/01/for a clicking noise in the frontPrior to bringing the car into the shop *** *** told us that he had just left another shop and they installed new front struts and a new rack and pinion
trying to correct his noiseWe had suggested that he return there and he declinedOnce the car was brought into the shop we found that the old strut mounts were reused and also the R/F strut mount was left loose and part of the mount was left out when put back togetherI then had the owner walk out to the car with me so that I could show him the movement in the strut and also the sway bar bushings and told him with these parts known to have failed this is where we must startThe parts were replaced and then we test drove the carThe noise we originally were trying to correct was now solved*** *** then picked his car up, he called us later that afternoon and said there was still a noise and we asked that he come back at his convenienceUpon farther inspection we noted that the control arm bushings on the front are loose and the control arms are shifting when brakingI offered to install the control arms for the customer at half labor with us warranting the alignment as well as the showing the customer where to buy the parts to save moneyAt this point he declined to go any farther and no other contact has been madeThanksRichard C***
