I'm responding to this complaint as required as a Revdex.com accredited business I would like to take a moment to explain the process of renewing a notary in Texas Renewal applications are sent to potential Texas customers (5) months in advance of expiration Mr ***'s renewal notary application was sent to him on October 23rd, The notary division will except notary renewal applications days prior to expiration Our processing times for notary renewals can vary from 4-weeks This allows for review of the application and state processing times It is not mandatory in the State of Texas or any state to indicate notary processing times as this can vary greatly This is why we provide our renewal notaries with ample time (5) months in advance of expiration to send to us their notary renewal application, so there is no chance of the current commission expiring.Based on the notary expiration of ** [redacted] 03/21/2018, we sent out his renewal application on October 23rd, We received his credit card payment over the phone on February 6th, and the credit card payment was processed on 02/07/ Payment is needed first so that the notary process can begin The notary bond is a form of insurance and the premium must be paid firstMr ***'s renewal application was filed electronically on March 2nd, just under (4) weeks This doesn't indicated the notary division will process our batch of applications immediatelyAdditionally, the State of Texas notary division commissioned Mr [redacted] on 03/15/with a new commission date of 03/21/Commission Number# It is important to note here that Mr [redacted] could have sent his renewal application into our service for processing with the state as early as December ,2017, which is within days Finally, Mr***'s included notary stamp was ordered today with a RUSH as his current commission is expiring March 21st As for a partial refund, unfortunately there is nothing to be refunded at this point the notary bond which has already been filed with that state and we have already paid the state filing fee as indicated above Mr [redacted] has a new commission.Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to explain our position as it relates to this matter on how we process our renewal notaries As a National company we process thousands of renewal notaries each year for all states and have been doing the program since I apologize that Mr [redacted] thinks the process is "super slow" but personally, I would like all our new or renewal applications to get processed with the state without rejection.Sincerely, [redacted] PresidentNotary Association of Texas, Inc

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12736895, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:We received so many solicit postcards to renew five months before renewal date and were not interested in renewing in early stageI had renewed two times before this about the same processing time. The problem with the company is that they didn't disclose processing time frame on the solicit postcard, their website and on the applicationAfter they received our applications with regular shipping request, they should advise us to change to faster shipping because they already knew that there was three weeks to process at their end and another to days processing time at the Secretary of StateThis is real customer serviceI was told yesterday by ***, one of the call center customer service, that there was a three weeks processing time, which we were not informed beforeThat frustrated me because they didn't disclose the processing timeI am running a postal store for twelve years and know the fact that we receive tons of junk mailsI did read the content even junk mailsMy employee [redacted] ***'s commission expired on 3/10/and he couldn't notarize for the customers since thenIt was not only financial loss to us, it was also inconvenience to our customersI hope they will improve the information to the public.Regards, [redacted] ***

I'm responding to this complaint as required as a Revdex.com accredited business. I would like to take a moment to explain the process of renewing a notary in Texas.1. Renewal applications are sent to potential Texas customers (5) months in advance of expiration. Mr ***'s renewal notary
application was sent to him on October 23rd, 2017.2. The notary division will except notary renewal applications days prior to expiration. 3. Our processing times for notary renewals can vary from 4-weeks. This allows for review of the application and state processing times. It is not mandatory in the State of Texas or any state to indicate notary processing times as this can vary greatly. This is why we provide our renewal notaries with ample time (5) months in advance of expiration to send to us their notary renewal application, so there is no chance of the current commission expiring.Based on the notary expiration of ** *** *** 03/21/2018, we sent out his renewal application on October 23rd, 2017. We received his credit card payment over the phone on February 6th, and the credit card payment was processed on 02/07/18. Payment is needed first so that the notary process can begin. The notary bond is a form of insurance and the premium must be paid first. Mr ***'s renewal application was filed electronically on March 2nd, just under (4) weeks. This doesn't indicated the notary division will process our batch of applications immediatelyAdditionally, the State of Texas notary division commissioned Mr *** on 03/15/with a new commission date of 03/21/Commission Number# 125628383. It is important to note here that Mr*** could have sent his renewal application into our service for processing with the state as early as December ,2017, which is within days. Finally, Mr***'s included notary stamp was ordered today with a RUSH as his current commission is expiring March 21st. As for a partial refund, unfortunately there is nothing to be refunded at this point the notary bond which has already been filed with that state and we have already paid the state filing fee as indicated above Mr *** has a new commission.Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to explain our position as it relates to this matter on how we process our renewal notaries. As a National company we process thousands of renewal notaries each year for all states and have been doing the program since 1940. I apologize that Mr *** thinks the process is "super slow" but personally, I would like all our new or renewal applications to get processed with the state without rejection.Sincerely,*** ** ***PresidentNotary Association of Texas, Inc
