August 2, Cincinnati Revdex.com (Cincinnati, OH) E4th Street, Suite Cincinnati, OH RE: ID of [redacted] Dear [redacted] : Mr [redacted] had new tires replaced at the direction of General Motors on July 7th, The vehicle in question was a GMC Sierra, VIN # [redacted] [redacted] and the truck had 12,miles at the time of service The tires were replaced as goodwill, because Mr [redacted] was dissatisfied with the description of the treadAfter completion of service, we witnessed Mr [redacted] inspecting all four tires in our enclosed service delivery bay before leaving The following Monday, Mr [redacted] returned stating we had damaged his wheels The damage in question is not consistent or possibly capable of the type of evidenced damageWe are offering no resolution for this situation Respectfully, Tom F [redacted] Fiehrer Buick GMC

RE: ID [redacted] Dear [redacted] It seems there was some offense taken to the “monkey” comment, obviously there are no monkeys thereAlthough one of the managers did run over a cone when I look my mustang in for a trade evaluation, but that is a different storyLike a friend at [redacted] said after telling them what happened “we have said the same thing to customers after we scratched a wheel” it really isn’t hard to doSpeaking from experience working at [redacted] *** just because they pass a certification test, doesn’t mean there will never be a screw up We all get our license, yet we sometimes get ticketsMy response to what MrF [redacted] said is simpleThe tire bar is used to remove/put the tire onThere is damage from that, zero doubtThe gouges In the center of the wheel is what is the issueWhat can be seen in the sunlight from far awayWe can throw theories back and forth, but the evidence suggest that the wheel was not curbed, the truck was not hit, and the wheel has serious damage in a circular patternObviously the dealership will decline their doingI’ve never seen a place own up, especially after the factYet I am sticking to my guns, there is more than enough evidence to support the damage on the wheel was the result of something happening when the tire was off and wheel off the truck on 07/07/Weather that be them changing the wheel with another truck, someone that was at work that didn’t want to do the jobThere is zero evidence to suggest that the way I drive, or driving in any sense could cause issues on the face like this and not the tire I will completely drop this because I have wheel care for the truck, if he can provide a place which can do CNC alloy wheel repair and make it look oemEvery place I have contacted cannotAll I want, is to have my truck look new as long as I own itI had my Mustang 3yrs and it had a single rock chip I couldn’t avoidZero damage other than that [redacted]

August 2, Cincinnati Revdex.com (Cincinnati, OH) E4th Street, Suite Cincinnati, OH RE: ID of *** Dear *** ***: Mr*** had new tires replaced at the direction of General Motors on July 7th, 2017. The vehicle in question was a
GMC Sierra, VIN # ***. *** *** and the truck had 12,miles at the time of service. The tires were replaced as goodwill, because Mr*** was dissatisfied with the description of the treadAfter completion of service, we witnessed Mr*** inspecting all four tires in our enclosed service delivery bay before leaving. The following Monday, Mr*** returned stating we had damaged his wheels. The damage in question is not consistent or possibly capable of the type of evidenced damageWe are offering no resolution for this situation Respectfully, Tom F*Fiehrer Buick GMC

For the purpose of brevity and respect, I am only going to address a couple of itemsThe damage on Mr*** wheel should have been easily noticed from inside our well-lit service delivery garage Secondly, the extent of damage in question is virtually impossible from our equipment. Mr*** consulted with three wheel and tire professionals Their possible theories of the damage were:Looks like monkeys did it. 99% chance they jacked it up, on the balancer and the tire bar.Honestly could have dropped the wheel on its face.Pure carelessness, they were just throwing stuff around. We too are wheel and tire professionals Any technician that performs wheel and tire services all must pass General Motors certification testing In addition, on-site training is provided by Hunter Engineering beginning with concept theory and discussion and finish up with hantraining All training material is kept up-to-date through a rigorous curriculum review process. My rebuttal to the above-mentioned theories are this:We don’t employee monkeys.A tire bar is not used on the balancer. We couldn’t have dropped the wheel without a tire on it It is clamped in the tire changer before and after changing the tire The face would not touch the ground as it would be protected by the tire.We do not just throw “stuff” around.Lastly, a CNC Machine finished wheel can be repaired We have had repair specialists do this for us in the past including my personal wheel on a Trans Am that I personally damaged.I am sorry the wheel is damaged, but the extent and type of damage are unfounded to have happened in our care.Respectfully, Tom F*
