We LOVED working with Dunrite. Go for it! The price was right, the staff & the owners are ALWAYS available & professional! They softened the "chores": the design & construction. Their company name aligns with their actions. They took the time needed to get the job done right under the time line they gave us, up front. (I have had issues with others contractors- but THIS company, made me relaxed and happy to write the check)

Dunrite committed to coming with 2days notice and didn't flinch at cleaning a 89 year old chimney. The price they quoted was what I paid even though the technician spent over an 1 1/2 hours and pulled out pounds of soot and kernels of creosote. They'll be coming back for annual cleanings that's for sure.

Review: I purchased a wood stove from Dunrite Chimney & Stove on 11/**/2012 which included installation. On or about April 2013 the roof started leaking from the chimney smoke pipe and after repeated telephone conversations he said he would send someone to repair. I did not ever see a repair technician although I told Dunrite I wanted to be present when the day laborer came to my house. The leak stopped temporarily I called my roofer to assess the damage at which time he said all of the wood under the roof tiles would need to be replaced along with the roof tiles in the area of the smoke stack and pointed out where the problem on the smoke stack was where the silicon was leaking water. He also pointed out that who ever installed the smoke stack tried to silicone between the roof tiles because they knew the opening was too large for the stack and it was not properly secured . On 11/**/13 I awoke again to leaking chimney and wet walls and floor. I called Dunrite in frustration and again he is trying to blame my roofing company as he did back in April. He refuses to take responsibility or agree to repair the partial roof and interior damage caused by poor installation.Desired Settlement: I would like the roof repaired/replacement of all damaged roofing material and smoke stack in the area of installation, proper re-installation and interior walls repaired by a reputable company at this juncture I do not have confidence in Dunrite's ability to employ qualified or legally insured workers. I would like for Dunrite to pay for complete repairs by 3rd party contractor of my choice.
