I finished the work for [redacted] on 7/15/14.  She paid me a total of $1,850.  Gave her a credit of $150.00 because the closet could be made deeper to accommodate the doors.  The  radiator prevented me from making the closet deeper.  [redacted] agreed with this and...

signed the final contract. Her complaint stated she paid $2,500 I submitted a copy of our signed contract which she signed showing she actually paid $2,000(minus $150.The contract shows everything agreed upon. i.e. there was never any agreement to paint inside the closet.  I did however put 6 coats of paint on the trim;  though this was also NOT paert of the contract. All other stipulations as mentioned in the contract were met.  I did go back to the customers house at least 8 times to help correct the leaking problem i.e. I pressurized the pipes.  After studying the problem I realized the washer had a hairline crack in the bottom which caused the leaking.  [redacted] had the [redacted] come out and the repairman agreed with my assessment-see original complaint.  I explained to [redacted] I wanted to be there when they delivered the new washer being I had the same problem with [redacted] regarding a dishwasher I had bought from them.   She agreed she would call me when they delivered the appliance-but she never called me again. She said we ripped wallpaper.  With all the times I went back to her home she never mentioned this before.I believe I met the conditions of the contract.  I went back many times to show I operated in 'good faith.'

Review: HIRED DUNRITE TO INSTALL A STACKABLE WASHER/ DRYER UNIT IN A BEDROOM CLOSET WITH SHELVES ABOVE UNIT AND A NEW BIFOLD CLOSET INSTALLED. MEASUREMENTS WERE TAKEN TO INCLUDE ALL OF THIS BY DUNRITE. WHEN THEY WENT TO INSTALL UNIT , DUNRITE INFORMED ME THEY HAD TO ENLARGE CLOSET MORE LENGTH AND WIDTH SIZE TO GET UNIT TO FIT PROPERLY. SO ANOTHER AMOUNT WAS ADDED ON TO THE ORIGINAL. THE UNIT WAS HOOKED UP AND IMMEDIATELY WATER WAS LEAKING FROM UNDERNEATH AND CYLES WERE NOT WORKING PROPERLY. [redacted] SENT A REPAIR MAN OUT AND ORDERED A NEW WASHER . WHEN [redacted] CAME TO REMOVE WASHER AND INSTALL NEW ONE THEY FOUND THAT DUNRITE HAD HOOKED UP THE WASHER WRONG IN THE BACK OF WASHER THAT CONNECTS TO PIPES IN BASEMENT. THAT WAS WHAT LED TO ALL LEAKING PROBLEMS UNDER WASHER AND BASEMENT AND CYCLE PROBLEMS. ALSO, THE NEW TRIM AROUND THE CLOSET DOOR THEY INSTALLED WAS POORLY PAINTED AND THE INSIDE OF CLOSET WAS LEFT WITH WRIPPED WALLPAPER HANGING OFF, WHEN I COMPLAINED HE DID COME BACK AND PUT ANOTHER hi COAT OF PAINT ON. HOWEVER THE WOOD TRIM KEPT SHOWING THROUGH, THE NEW BIFOLD CLOSET DOOR WAS NEVER INSTALLED AND HE NEVER OFFERED TO BRING IT BACK AND WHEN I ASKED FOR RECEIPT HE SAID HE DIDENT HAVE IT. I ENDED UP CARRYING IT INTO HOME DEPOT AND THEY WERE NICE ENOUGH TO TAKE IT BACK WITHOUT RECEIT . I ENDED UP HIRING A NEIGHBOR TO REPAINT THE NEW . FRAME AROUND CLOSET DOOR AND IT TOOK 4 MORE COATS OF PAINT. ALSO, CLEANED UP INSIDE OF CLOSET THAT WAS LEFT IN SUCH A MESS. HE WAS ABLE TO REARRANGE THE UNIT IN THE CLOSET SO THE FOLDING DOOR COULD BE INSTALLED. I LET DUNRITE KNOW I HAD TO HIRE SOMEONE TO FINISH UP WHAT HE HADENT. WE GOT INTO A VERBAL ARGUMENT ON PHONE AND TO DATE HE HASENT TRIED TO REIMBURSE ME ANY MONEY FOR WHAT I HAD TO PAY TO HIRE A NEW PERSON, HIS WORK WAS VERY SHABBY AND HE''S A REAL CON ARTIST TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SENIOR CITIZENS. I PAID HIM A TOTAL OF $2250.00Desired Settlement: I PAID HIM $2250.00 AND WOULD LIKE TO GET BACK $1000.00 TO $ 1500
