We are very sorry to hear the [redacted] had a bad experience with Duo Dry Cleaners, but after reading his letter some things are more clear why iwas not able to explain [redacted] our procedure and policy.On the morning of the March 5th at 11:am [redacted] visited Duo Dry CleanersAt that time he brought two pair of pants, one black and one tan, to be repaired as they had a rip around crotch area even missing part of the material on both pairs.At the time MrsR was on the shift and she helped and explained fully to [redacted] what will be done (that we will need to find similar piece of material and saw it around damaged area and the go back and forth with sawing machine to make area more hard as other way they would rip again) and told him that price will be between $and $and should be done by March 8th [redacted] agreed with everything without any other specifications.Please understand that this is the only way this to be done and be functional again, but I am sure you also saw that before.On March 14th [redacted] arrived at the cleaner at 10:am and picked up his pants, at the time he was pleasant, I explained him the bill and what was done and he paid it and went his way.Next day in the morning [redacted] arrived again and he locked very worriedAs he approached me he told me that he has a problem and we need to solve itI asked him what was the problem and at the time he showed me both pair of pants and told me that even that he asked for this he is not happy now....As I was confused and I asked him again, did we do what he asked and he confirmed again that we did but now he is not happy and he want a full refund.| explained him that that is the only way and there is no other way to do this work,but if he is not happy iwill offer him 20% discount, but I am not able to offer him a full refund or a store credit in a full amount as we did exactly what he askedHe was not happy with that and after min of me repeating myself and him questing me would I wear that he started to threaten that he will report this store here and there including Revdex.com.At that time he also started to pick up, and hit counter table with his pants demanding a full refundAs I was not feeling that I can come to mutual agreement with [redacted] especially after he started hitting counter table I asked him to leave or I will need to call the policeAt that time [redacted] decided to leave the store continuously treating me that he will report me and them he slammed glas door that where open when I asked him to close themPlease understand that glass is about feet tall by feet wide, when he come back second time to tell me something again I was afraid that he will push door again and that is when I walked towards the exit so I can hold the door so serious damage would not be doneHe come back to tell me that I am a mn what delivery person from plant heard him on his way out and asked me what was his problem.As I can also confirm that [redacted] was very nice dressed with a suit and a bow tie and not as some bum with outdoors type outfit what he would be obviously ashamed to be dressed like, he described me, as I was dressed in a outdoors type outfit and ride a bike to work and have a organic dry cleaner but in this way also explained to me why I was not able to communicate with him or for him to accept anything what I had to say......very sad.He also claims that he supports local business but being that Duo Cleaners is here since this was his first time in the store.With all of that sad, Duo is still here to offer 20S discount to his tailoring check if customer is not happy with a hope that would settle this event.Thank you very much

I am rejecting this response because:
The owner is not being truthful with the events that took place The woman who I initially provided the pants did not explain the details nor did she detail to me the procedures of how the pants would be prepared She simply said that the pants would be ready by a specific date which was presented to me via a receipt When I returned the day after I picked up my pants, I was very pleasant and respectful as to what my issue and/or concern were regarding my pants.The day in question, the owner listened to the details and corresponded by saying that the nature of what was done was conducted properly I stated to him that if a refund were not available, then maybe we could arrange another way of meeting each other half way The owner then stated that he could provide a 20% discount but that they did exactly what was asked Though the offer was generous, I then attempted to explain to him that his answer was not acceptable because my pants were not in fact repaired He became agitated by my questions and responses.He then seemed to get very irate and began cursing at me telling me to get out of his store and that I was an "it" I mentioned to him that his behavior was unacceptable and he continued to berate me He stated to me that he would sue me and call the Police if I did not leave the store He then maneuvered his position from behind the desk to continue hurling insults and curse words and I left the premises.I would have surely taken the deal he proposed but his behavior is worthy of him closing his business and moving on to another endeavor I will not accept his offer and will not visit his store ever again His manner of behavior was absolutely horrendousHis statement that I have never visited the store is also untrue I lived on Varnum Street in Northwest DC, prior to him opening his store and have used his store on several occasions I had even recommend his store to friends and family in the area In fact, I have a blue pin striped suit that I brought to him in that he ruined by staining the pants and I never challenged him regarding that issue Thought when I brought that up to him at that time, I received coincidentally the very same answer, We did what you asked.As an established business in a thriving neighborhood, where we live, he should know all of his customers whether they have been frequent or infrequent to his store.The owner need not worry about my concerns or his offer because his language to me was highly offensive and disrespectful His recounting of the events are inaccurate and false.
