I hired Duotech to fix my refrigerators, that were not getting down to temperature properly. They told me to drop the fridges off at a third party business (the person who referred to Duotech). After not hearing back from them for over a week I followed up to see about getting a quote, *** to said he had forgot and sent somebody the following day. After I got the quote back, it seemed like they had figures out the problem, and I paid them for their time for the estimate and told then to go ahead with the work. Three weeks after the estimate I hadn't heard from them again so again I followed up to check on the progress. Again it seemed like they had forgotten about it a d sent somebody the next day. Again I had to follow up with them three days later and *** said the fridges were fixed and I could go pick them up. When I picked then up and got them back to the house I plugged them in to check if they would get down to temperature. One would not get below 55 degrees the other would get down to freezing temperatures and continue to run, meaning the thermostat they said they replaced was not working properly. I called *** immediately, he did not answer so I left a message asking them to the come back and fix their work. *** never returned my phone called. I called again the following day and sent an email, clearly stating I was not happy with there work and I would not pay thy em until they fixed it. I would never hear from *** again until he sent me the invoice again via email. Again I explained I was not happy and had no intention to pay them without them fixing the problem. I ended taking the fridge that would not get down to temperature to *** Mechanical service in Pittsburgh PA. They fix my fix that day and informed me that Duotech had put the wrong voltage motor in it causing it to not run properly. Today I recieved a call that this invoice has gone to a collection service. I said I would pay for the parts but not the labor, the collection company is presenting this to Duotech.
