Dupage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Reviews (25)

We had a very negative experience dealing with Dupage Chrysler Dodge Jeep The advertised price on the vehilce we came to purchase included all possible rebates, and of course we did not qualify for any of them After searching the website several time, nowhere did the advertisment provide a footnote disclosing the published price inlcuded all available rebatesThis is missleading advertising and not an acceptable business practice The overall level of professionalism demonstrated by the staff was very poor This type of approach to business gives the car business a black eyeWhen dealing with Dupage Chrysler Dodge Jeep it's buyer beware!

Bad experience with two, TWO, separate "clerical" errors on the part of the dealership, the total of which cost my father $1,up front which he is not really able to pay Moreover, when my father got upset (at the second mistake, not the first, mind you), the sales manager went as far as to insult him both to his face, and then later to me Not sure how this is still an A+ business, seeing all the other reviews on social media are so low?

The dealership advertises vehicles on website at certain price, when you call dealership and ask about the vehicle and price they tell you that is what you will pay, they even sent email saying I would pay certain price, but when I went to dealership to purchase vehicle they told me I had to qualify for certain requirements to get that price The online price at their website does not mention qualifying requirements, very deceptive advertising, very classic bait and switch methodsThey also told me they give higher trade in values for vehicle trading in, however, when I got price from them it was approximately 50% less than the value I got from [redacted] ***Very unprofessional and deceptive salespeople and sales manager

Ted [redacted] was extremely friendly and helpful with our purchase of a ProMasterHe understood my wants and needs and made sure he met all of themRobert [redacted] , did a great job with the Finance aspect of the deal

In regards to the complaint from John *** unfortunately we the dealership do not make the rules or eligibility requirements for the incentives. The incentives (rebates) are based on where the vehicle is being titled. Before John *** drove from Iowa we
went over the incentives. We do agree there was a misunderstanding with the military incentive. Because of the misunderstanding DuPage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is willing to give John $as a good will gesture

Horrible experience Received a quote by email for a new Dodge Grand Caravan and went to see it Before going I called to confirm the price and was told it was correct Took a test drive, but when it was done, Luis the sales person would not confirm the price I asked for something in writing with any and all taxes and fees and he just told me the tax rate is 7.25% and there are about $of other fees I asked why he didn't want to give a price in writing and he told me that the finance people need to do that even though I was going to pay cashI asked to talk to one of them and was told they were backed up and since they close in hours, it would be better for me to come back the next dayAfter leaving, I called and spoke with Amanda and she said she wasn't sure why I was told that but Chad who provided the quote would be in the next day and it was best to talk with himThe next day I called and spoke with Chad He said he woud be in and that he would get things straigthened out He asked me to text him before I came in so he could be there Against my better judgement, I decided to go back I texted Chad and he said he would be there and he replied and said great, come on in When I arrived I was told Chad wasn't in The found someone else for me to talk with I told him I had the price, but he said I had to do another test driveAfter another test drive, I was finally able to go over the price The quoted price was $28,- Dealer Discounts $8,for a price of $20, This was heavily discounted since it was last year's model and the end of the year The price I was given after the test drive was $25,It was the sticker price minus the $3,rebate My emailed quote was for $8,under the sticker price and so was the *** Price Promise pricing Also the website showed this vehicle qualified for a 20% discount through Dodge, which was $5, I questioned the price and was told the price I was given included other rebates I didn't qualify for like $1,military rebate, $2,rebate for having a Dodge lease in the past months and $2,for having a competitor leaseWhen I asked about 20% rebate they went to the manager and then came back with a slightly better price, but he said he couldn't do anything other than go to the manager and bring back whatever he was told The manager wouldn't come talk to me, so it appears the just use advertising to get you in their location and then try to cheat you out even out of the basic rebated you are entitled toHorrible experience with everyone I dealt with

Mr *** came to the dealership on Friday April 17thWe did cancel his service contract, gap and vin etchThe cancellation
was signed by Mr *** and he agreed that he was now satisfiedThe service contract came with a yr oil package which we let him keep as a good will gesture

First...let me say that Sam (my salesman), Ursala (Service), Lori (Cash Office) and Luis - who was just a friendly sales guy, who made it a point to speak everytime he saw me...all were great to work with!
Now...let me get to the details!
1st...I inquired about the vehicle dozen times before I subsequently purchased it I guess no one was serious because I never got a callback
2nd...the guys stand outside like hawks awaiting prey, and trust me, if you're not savvy, you WILL be their prey! One salesman saw me parking, waited by my car & proceeded to follow me around the whole lot I had to tell him to stop following me! His response was that his mgr would be mad, my response was..."tell your manager I'm going to be mad if you continue to follow me like a toddlers first steps!"
So I finally come in for a test drive Don't expect the kind of hospitality you might be accustomed to at other fine dealerships They can care less about offering you a bottle of water or cup of coffee...this is NOT Dupage Diner!
From then on, I went into negotiation-mode via text, phone calls & emails Remember, you get no REAL attention, unless they feel you're ready to be reeled in I had great financing already & they ran my credit (w/o my knowledge or permission) thru every bank in town, trying to get a lower rate! THE ONLY THING THAT GOT LOWER WAS MY CREDIT SCORE!!!
I held them to the negotiated price for the car, the traoffer & the repairs request...a 2nd set of keys & a reconditioning/detail of my vehicle I swear, you would have thought I asked for everyone's 1st born!!! Thank God for the texts I was able to show, to prove their acceptance of my offer By this point, I started to believe what I heard about this dealership
The finance mgr was not the nicest...especially when I didn't accept the gap insurance & extended warranty She really got her panties in a bunch when we had to go back & forth with my deal! I guess she figured...I'm going to get something out of this woman...so she hit me w/the $"required" VinEtch And a lie about it providing an insurance discount, per my insurance company
Getting to the finishing point, because I can go on & on about the epitome of a sheisty dealership
My car was supposed to be detailed, I couldn't tell if someone even spit on it! Bird dropping on my windshield, evidence of a spill in my backseat, paint markings on my glass & lights (scratches on my windows from them using a razor to get it off!), previous wax remains, a NEW DENT on my bumper, and they took off my temp tag & didn't return it...unfortunately, I only noticed after constantly being stopped by police & receiving a ticket! The Service Dept is the worst! Not the most friendly or attentive bunch of folk...I stood like a statue, waiting to be noticed each time I visited
In conclusion, although this dealership sells a ton of cars, I can't imagine the buyer experience? Wait...no need to imagine, read the reviews! As for me, a person who trades a car in every years & has purchased approximately vehicles...I WILL NOT give this dealership one cent of my hard earned money again!
As a matter of fact...I want a refund for my detail and this "so called, required $fee for VinEtch" wouldn't this already be included in the price of the vehicle??? Ugh...the lies!!!

Bad experience with two, TWO, separate "clerical" errors on the part of the dealership, the total of which cost my father $1,600 up front which he is not really able to pay. Moreover, when my father got upset (at the second mistake, not the first, mind you), the sales manager went as far as to insult him both to his face, and then later to me. Not sure how this is still an A+ business, seeing all the other reviews on social media are so low?

bait and switch. bait and switch. bait and switch. I received an email from dealership staff with an written offer and the sales manager literally said to me that he understood what was offered in the email, that he would not honor the offer, and that "an email is not a contract". Then proceeded to offer a price thousands of dollars higher than the emailed offer. Shocking level of disrespect and bold deception - beware of this dealership

I purchased my first ever Jeep Wrangler here in 2014, a used and low mileage XXXX X-door black beauty. The salesman Jesse was awesome and the closer, Eric were great at helping me feel confident of my purchase. I was over the moon. The dealership is less than 5 miles from my home and to top it off free carwashes with my endorsement of them on my license plate frame.
Sounds great, right? So you can imagine my disappointment since then in discovering how difficult the customer service and car care has been since then. To date I've never wrote a review of anywhere and definitely do not like using my precious weekend time off to think of something that upsets me, much less spend time writing about it.
My neighbore ncouraged me to let others know my experience after hearing about it and maybe I can make a difference in getting someone's attention to improve services here.
The rundown: I purchased in Spring 2014. In the fall of 2014 I had to replace my heater core. I was quoted $600-$1000. My warranty didn't cover it. I tried calling the manager but he didn't call back. Finally I went there and waited at least 30 minutes. After a few discussions over the next week he agreed to do the job for $400. I was frustrated spending any additional money after spending $22,000 earlier in the year. His basic response was he wasn't responsible for what the former management sold me. Apparently the company changed ownership in 2014. They still have grand opening signs up! After the core was replaced my radio went out. After discussing it was determined it hadn't been installed correctly after the core replacement. So brought it in , rented a car , 2 days later pick it up and still have problems. I was told by the manager that it must be my fault. To this day my radio is shot and inoperable.
Most recently I needed parts for my hardtop lift. They didn't call me to let me know when they were in. Finally I came to get them and the parts department said it was $30 more than quoted due to shipping costs. I asked to see the invoice and she got upset with me and basically stormed away saying she had to go upstairs now. When she can e back she still didn't have the official invoice. She said if you don't want it forget it.
When I explained I wasn't expecting the extra costs he was like well that's not my problem they should have told you when you ordered it. Finally she agreed to take the $8 they marked it up beyond the shipping charges. I've also had to replace2 rotars. And the service took longer than Iw as told it was and more expensive.
Also car washes take at least 30 minutes everytime.
To be fair some workers I've encountered are friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint is how management thinks it's appropriate to pass the buck and say its not my problem when confronted. This company leaves a lot to be desired.

DuPage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram does not stand behind the vehicle quotes that are provided over the interent, phone, or over personal email. I received a quote from this dealer via three different lines of communication specifically stating a dollar amount for a new vehicle. Upon arriving to the dealership within the hour of the quote, the salesman then began to inform me that I could receive the quote given. No fine print was provided, nor were any qualifiers given. They simply wanted to bait me with an phony price and never once came close to the deal price given.

Very bad customer service very unprofessional sales manager do not go there please

Advertised internet prices on Jeeps are listed at $4.000 below MSRP but no one could possibly qualify for the $4,000 discount (must be Military, a Realtor, a recent grad, etc). Other than the reference to "qualified buyers" there is no way for the consumer to know what the many restrictions to the discount are.
My husband and I had visited the dealership and selected a car. We called a few days later and negotiated a price for the car (being told our price would be $4.000 less than sticker) and a trade-in which was approved by a manager at the dealership. When I arrived later that morning to finalixpze the deal I found out they had no intention of honoring the deal made over the phone.
There a numerous complaints on [redacted] from customer who have experienced the same unethical behavior from this dealership.

Dear Revdex.com,   First I want to thank you for taking on our complaint and sending an email out to DuPage Jeep.  We...

received a call the following day after you had contacted them.  [redacted], the general sales manager heard the complaint and honored the sales price.  He asked [redacted], his sales person to call us and say that DuPage Jeep would honor the advertised sales price.  We were able to come in a couple of days later(today) and complete the sale for what we originally thought the Jeep was advertised for.   I appreciate [redacted] and DuPage Jeep's fairness and understanding in the matter and we are happy with the resolution.
