that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  
I did receive a call from the company that was scheduled to deliver my appliances. She did apologized but I informed her that there could not be a resolution to my complaint since I had cancelled my order from Home Depot, received a refund and ordered the same appliances from [redacted], who did deliver as scheduled. While I appreciate the apology, the apology can not pay for my lost wages and lost time. And no apology can excuse the incompetence of this antiquated system of delivery.

We were performing service replacement for the manufacture. The customers old microwave and trim kit was not the same size as the new microwave and trim kit. So there was modification that needed to be done by a carpenter. We do install appliances, but do not modify...

cabinets. All openings have to be to manufacture spec for install. Installer did explain what needed to be done.. Installer did not try to leave with her old trim kit parts. They were left inside the home with the customer along with the new microwave and trim kit. He only took the old microwave. This is a requirement by the manufacture in order to receive new unit. Modification is not in our scope of work for the manufacture.

The technician first explained why he needed to cut the cabinet, and after the explanation, I agreed to the work. The technician then proceeded to tell me I needed to have my microwave installed by a contractor as he would not complete the installation. He then proceeded to removed the new items from the premises. The technician was basically "forced" off the premises as he continued to make sarcastic remarks regarding his own "professional customer service". We later found a handful of screws the technician apparently dumped into our sink & disposal. His behavior was totally unacceptable and unnecessary. This company should not be billing for installation, if their company policy is for delivery only.  I was able to have this issue resolved with [redacted] directly without any more malicious comments or actions.
