Review: I am a college student and a current member of Dupont Community Credit Union. Im looking to buy a car this summer so I went to my local bank to get more information about auto loans. I spoke with a dupont representative and she said it was okay that I was hired through a temp agency ([redacted]) as long as I had a cosigner I would be fine. I applied and got the notification that my loan was approved, but I was confused because eI hadn't put in any information about my cosigner. I called the bank and spoke with a different representative who then declined my loan because I was a temp worker????? My problem is not that I was declined because I was a temp worker, I have a problem being told the wrong information and getting accepted then declined 2 minutes later. All representatives should be clear on what the rules are for loans and there should also be a section on the online application that states "no temp workers" or something like that. I'm very disappointed because I'm trying to build my own credit, and I will have to find another source.Desired Settlement: I just feel that all the employees need to be made aware of your loan qualifications before giving out false information. There should also be a section on the online loan application that notifies you that you can't get a loan as a temp worker. Or the representatives should actually check your employment background before just approving your loan.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. Yes they apologized. There really wasn't much to be done.

I requested 2 large checks over the past year. The first was weeks late and the second NEVER ARRIVED! I was paying for a wedding and was given discounts by my vendors if I paid upfront. With late checks my wedding discounts were threatened. The fees to do anything convenient, the notary requirements and the hoops you have to jump through are insane and very inconvenient. The paperwork to cancel the check still has not arrived. What if I had not had extra money in my account to request another check? I would not have the money to my vendor by friday's deadline. The gentleman teller I spoke to was superb and only delivering verbiage from the manager. The manager didn't even speak to me but left the gentleman to battle what could've been an abrasive customer--but luckily he had me. Management at DuPont needs to change and my family will be pulling our money from the greedy claws DuPont Community Credit Union. We are very disappointed, considering we have done business with them a long time. No more.
