On Oct 29, while on my way home from work at 11:PM I ran over a large limb of a treeIt was a back road and no street lightsThis branch broke up under my car and was actually visible over the hood of my carI did continue home no obvious problemsOn Monday morning about minutes from my house my car failed to startI called triple AMy car was towed to Durable radiator in WaterburyI explained the situation and when Durable called on Tuesday I was told it had nothing to do with the branchThe battery was deadSo I paid for a battery and picked the car up at 2:on TuesdayI proceeded to go to an appointment and by PM when I came out the car would not startAgain I called triple AA very rude tow truck driver said it was because I did not start my car correctly and proceeded to hold the ignition key and gun the engineIt did startHe did a diagnostic and proudly told me how well it was runningI have never in the years I owned my car started it this way!!! At this point I just wanted to get away from him so I went straight homeLess than milesOn Wednesday I started to go to work at about 1PM and my car stalled at a lightAgain miles from my houseAgain I called Triple athis time my husband came and started it -With difficultyHe followed me home and drove me to workI called durable and was told if I had it towed in and it started there was nothing they could doI called Thurs Morning and had the car towed inInitially the tech test drove it( this was the second test drive done this week which I believe contributed to the further damage to my car.) Upon moving the car the tech then noticed fluid under the carNow they see a problemSo they replace the radiatorWhen they try to start it smoke billows outNow I get a call that the internal head gasket is blownNow I need a new engineAt this point I have the car towed to Mazdai would not let them touch my car any furtherBy the way the cooling fan they put in had already failed at this pointMazda had to replace thatInitially I paid for the batteryThen I intended to pay out of pocket for the radiatorThe cost for this would have been plus day car rentalInstead I paid in car rentals and a deductible on my insuranceAlthough the radiator was a result of the incident and due to Durable s incompetence I had to have my engine replaced and paid extraordinary rental billsMy car was in the shop for month just to replace the engineDurable said well what do you want You drove the car all weekI did notEach time the car was released to me I got no more than miles from my home and the car did not workIn addition to the incompetence of their work, I was put at risk being sent out in a car that was not suitable to driveHad I taken this car on at high speeds I could have been at risk of injuring myself and/or othersDurable sent me out in an unsafe vehicle multiple times in one weekI am submitting this review to alert others of this company's work ethic and incompetenceI am not sure how they were assessed at an A+ rating but my experience was not only bad it was totally unacceptable
Took my car at their shop to have it fix I was involved in an accident, upon receiving the car I notice some dings or dents that was not there when I initially brought the car in , at the time o spoke to the person in charge he told me that they didn't do anything with the bumper, there was also a scratch on the door that was replaced, as I got home and went over the paper work I saw that they had removed be bumper and reinstalled itI told the person numerous times that that wasn't there he refused to fix it and did not have any proof that it was there when I first brought the car inThe insurance company had allready payed the shop so they did not care cause they got their payment
