Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/06) */ On June 29, two representatives from Durable Roofing and [redacted] a representative of [redacted] manufacturer of roof system)did a thorough roof inspection and confirmed that the roof was installed properly and also performed a water test and still found no leakWe did find a nail pop up on certain shingle and repaired Owner of home used a water hose to lift shingles up in a certain spot and then a small leak was detected(lifting the shingles is not advised) Durable roofing will be installing flashing in area where shingles were lifted up to prevent any further leakage Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 7, 2015/07/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) On June 29, the representatives from Durable came out and inspected the roofThe water test they performed DID identify two leaksThe leaks were caused by nails popping under the shinglesThe homeowners at NO point lifted any shingles??? Flashing was NOT installed anywhere by Durable as part of this repairThe leaking shingles were replaced and at this time no water appears to be leaking so I am marking this incident as closed and will re-open the case of the issue begins again in the future
