to me
Hi ***
I did some research into this customer and found that they have an outstanding balance - one of the invoices has been overdue since February Our lawyer is currently working with their representatives to settle thisDoes this change the
status of the complaint at all?
Cheers,

Professional Assistant to MrAmar ***, General Manager

Our service Manager spoke with the customer directly over the phone late last weekPer their conversation, Durabuilt will repair all leaking windows and replace the failed glass at no charge

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the copy of the delivery note as valid, as it clearly states that the Screens/Lock-out were delivered on January 2015, along with the rest of the deliveryThe screens were not delivered on that day, or even that yearThey were shipped in March of
All the past outstanding balances and legal issues were cleared up and settled in December, and this issue was brought to their attention long before that
And as I said before, I personally spoke with the Construction Manager in Question, Derek ***, and he informed me that no such conversation took place
Dealing with Durabuilt has been nothing short of a headache, in my experience it appears as though once they have their money, they do not care about the customer, or the product they supplied

Durabuilt Windows and Doors recognizes the customer's frustration and feels the actions taken to look in to and assist in this matter are sufficientWe delivered the house package in question on January 12, and were contacted by the customer's company on March 31, regarding a missing basement windowOur sales associate inquired with the company's Construction Manager who confirmed the window in question was received
Though the Durabuilt delivery policy clearly states that customers have a hour time frame to report any missing or damaged product, Durabuilt provided a copy of the delivery notice to the customer, when requested to look into this matter furtherAs the original bill of lading was missing from the customer's file, the delivery notice also lists the products and services due to the customerOur current system requires all items receive a barcode and are scanned before they are provided to the customerAll items ordered show as delivered
As per Durabuilt's policy on missing items, we offered to re-order the window for the customer or provide a selection from our Southside Design GalleryGiven past outstanding balances and legal action taken due to late payment, Durabuilt understands this issue has been longstanding, but that the actions taken have been justified

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/12/24) */
Durabuilt Windows and Doors understands the difficulty the customer has experienced thus far and has taken appropriate action to rectify the concerns brought forth. As stated by the customer, several emails confirm the customer's claim to the...

credit for the staining of 10 doors. Durabuilt accepts full responsibility for the staining of the doors and has attempted to send a cheque for the first 6 doors via Canada Post on October 28th. Durabuilt received notice from the customer on November 17th that the cheque was not received; it was suggested the customer wait a short time to see if the cheque was delayed for some unknown reason. On November 30th a replacement cheque was to be sent out, however this was lost in internal communication. Durabuilt recognizes this as detrimental to the customer's experience.
Durabuilt Windows and Doors has no intention of withholding a credit from the customer and will send the appropriate amount ($787.50) in the new year.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/12/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No, I do not accept this respond. This was promised several times, but had never happened. [redacted]
