I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Regards,
*** *** The response, I feel was ambiguous. I would like to confirm 1) you do have all the paperwork required to proceed with the case? 2) That this case was taken to court earlier and lost??? 3) The deptof labor has all required paperwork for my fathers case to proceed? Additionally, I would like a phone call to confirm what's going on here ***Respectfully *** ***

We have gotten the information from your mother again We tried these cases a couple of years ago and didn't win Some of the laws have changed now This is one of the few law firms that will handle Black Lung claims We have filed with the Department of Labor and they
confirmed they have your mother's information regarding your father We apologize if you feel this was not taken seriously. Joseph Wolfe

ON 03/06/17, THE VEHICLE CAME INTO SERVICE WITH HE COMPLAINT OF ENGINE NOT STARTING INTERMITTENTLY AND MAKES A CLICKING SOUND. TECHNICIAN FOUND BATTERY CABLES FAULTY, HEAVILY CORRODED AND HAD HIGH RESISTANCE ACROSS THE CIRCUIT. CUSTOMER HAD ALREADY HAD AFTERMARKET STARTER AND BATTERY INSTALLED...

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

I am rejecting this response because:Park Chevy Dealership did not gave the right diagnostics the first time I took my car to them. It resulted that the starter was the issue from the start. Something that Park Chevy discovered after I took my car for the second time after I had paid for a part and labor that my car didn't needed, not worth mentioning that my father in law had a brand new battery cable installed prior to me taking the car to the Chevy Dealership. I took my car to the Chevy Dealership on 3/6, got a call on 3/7 that my car was running and the issue has been resolved after they changed the battery cables, picked up my car that same day. On 3/8 my boyfriend was going out and it happened that the car didn't crank after multiple times it finally cranked. I was experiencing the same issue with the car. The following day took my car to work, once I got home was getting ready to head out but my car didn't wanted to crank until later that day. Problem was not fixed! Addition to that I had to take some time off work to deal with this issue of running back and forth for something that was easy to fix if Chevy would have a gave a good diagnostics. They gave a Diagnostic that the battery was testing bad when it was a brand new battery and all of sudden it was testing good Monday. I chose to get my car towed because they didn't handle the situation accordingly. Pick up parts Saturday and dropped new started off so that my car could be ready by Monday. No one contacted me Monday. I had to call after work (5:00pm) and then they gave me an answer at that time. It is unacceptable and unprofessional.

On 02/10/2018 and I met to complete the purchase and finance transaction on a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado. During this meeting Mr. [redacted] asked several questions were about the payoff on his trade and timeframe.  I informed Mr. [redacted] that the payoff could take up to 10 days depending on...

how quickly his new purchase was funded.  As a courtesy I reminded him to cancel his direct withdraw for the payment on his trade after it was paid off.  I also informed him that he had product cancelations from his previous purchase and gave him direction on how to get a timely refund for his canceled products.  He was to receive a sizeable refund and was very pleased to learn he could get a refund. A few days later I received communication from Mr. [redacted]’s new lender that the name of his spouse was added to the contract.  His spouse’s name was on the trade paperwork and I made an error in not deleting her name from the printout.  I made immediate contact with Mr. [redacted], informed him of the situation, and let him know what we needed to do.  A couple of days later he arrived at Parks Chevrolet to authorize the revision of excluding his wife’s name from the paper work.  I received several calls from Mr. [redacted] about his payoff and let him know we were doing everything we could to insure prompt completion but I took the extra step of having a company check payable to [redacted] Credit Union delivered to Mr. [redacted].  I called Mr. [redacted], informed him of our plan of action, and apologized for the inconvenience.  He gave me his thanks and the conversation ended.  The following day Piedmont [redacted] called my office and informed me the payoff was $27.85 short.  Instead of having another check issued and waiting another day I made the decision to use my personal debit card to handle this discrepancy. Transaction of this nature have several factors that often create processing delays beyond our control that add frustration.  At this point, I believe that Parks Chevrolet has made every reasonable effort to resolve this issue to the satisfaction of Mr. [redacted].
