Durafoam did reach out to Mr. [redacted] after he left us a message the day before to schedule his roof. He canceled his contract and we sent his money back. We would still be willing to work with Mr [redacted] if he still needs work to be done.

Durafoam was contracted by the previous homeowner to foam the flat roof. The area [redacted] is complaining about is flashing for the tile roof. The area in questions is also missing tiles on the corners of the gable. We gave her a bid to replace and repair underneath the flashing and she has yet...

to have our company do that portion. She also turned us into the ROC regarding this matter. I will attach the ROC form to this response as well which includes the bid to repair flashing area and the original bid.Thankk

We started this particular job the last week of December, the following week it rained every day and we were not able to work on this roof. Saturday was a sunny day but Saturday night and Sunday their was a chance of rain and it did rain Sunday. If we had opened that roof on Saturday we may not...

Review: My flat roof was recoated by Durafoam roofing, LLc in 2/2013 prior my purchase of my house. I moved into my house in 9/2013 and transferred all window and roof warranties to my name. I and has been noticing peeling, staining of interior and exterior ceilings in the last one year. In December 2014, we noticed water dripping from our kitchen ceiling and contacted Durafoam immediateley. I called back a week later since I did not hear from them. [redacted] who is a manager at Durafoam came in and said that there was noting wrong with flat roof and I could call handyman to seal under flashing area fix cracked mud caps After I send an compalaint email to Durafoam since according to my warranty, any work done without Durafoam specification will make me lose my roof warranty, a salesman came then sent me an estimate in amount of $1.300 to seal under flashing area. After calling 2 other roofing company for an estimate, I was informed by these roofers that under flashing area should have been sealed by Durafoam. After sending another email to Durafoam, [redacted] from Durafoam came and told me that they did not remove flashings to seal this area. He stated that original owner did not want old roof to be removed so they are not responsible for leaks due to this. According to the proposal they gave to the original owner, it was an option to remove old flat roof or to seal the roof without removing old flat roof. I have overhanging decorative tiles just on the one edge of my roof. When I asked [redacted] if they sealed under flashing area ( which is the most proabely cause of the leak) he said he did not know. After my question, he went and check under flashing area and stated that he saw foam under flashing area and was not sure if this was old foam or if ifoam was applied by Durafoam. He stated that probably they put some foaming by lifting flashing not by removing it . His answers were ambigious. Why under flashing area was not sealed by Durafoam when they recoated my roof.? If it was done why they are not redoing it and sealing the area properly since I have 5 year roof warranty until 2018. . I also have bad seals of foam in one area of the roof which was noted as another cause of roof leak by the other roofer who I called as an estimate. But Durafoam representative failed to mention this when they sent me estimate to fix two cracked mudcaps and seal under flashing area. I was informed by 2 other roofers that my cracked mud caps could not be any cause of my roof leak. I paid several hundred dollars to fix my interior roofings and it will cost me $400-500 to fix my peeling, stained exterior roofing.Desired Settlement: Since I do not trust Durafoam any longer, I prefer another roofer to seal my roof and under flashing area and I expect them to pay me for damages to my interior and exterior ceilings since they did poor job by neglecting sealing edge of the roof.

Review: Durafoam Roofing started work on our roof to repair it. They began work on December 30th and did a day and a half of work. They have not been back since. There has been storms throughout the week which has delayed them. However, when we spoke with someone in their office to ask when they would resume the work we were told it would resume on Saturday, January 9 but nobody has showed up to do the work. When I got a hold of the sales person who provided us with an inspection and quote for the work he proceeded to help us out. However, he has since stopped taking our calls and has not called us back. We are selling our home and moving out on Wednesday, January 13th and the roofing company is aware of this. Half of our roof has been removed and and only half of the work has been done. We were told that the reason they didn't resume work on Saturday, Jan. 9th was because they were working on another job. They went and started working on another job while they have yet to complete ours. We are desperate to get this work completed. We have already put 20% down on the cost of the work. This will delay the closing of our home for the buyer's and our new home in Northern Arizona. We need help. Nobody in this company will help us.Desired Settlement: We want them to come out ASAP and finish the work. We cannot have the work go past Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
