Review: On July 2,2013 Duralum installed a sunroof over my patio. It was attached directly to the fascia of the garage. On March 11,2014 (less than a year later) the sunroof tore the fascia off - due to snow and melting snow - and everything collapsed unto the patio. Duralum denies any liability claiming that the sunroof was still intact and they installed it according to manufacturer's recommendation. However since the fascia board was totally torn off that would indicate faulty installation. The

sunroof was only attached to the fascia instead of screwed through the fascia into the trusses. It is obvious that the installation was done improperly - otherwise it would have held up. Duralum will not admit improper labor. They have since removed the sunroof, posts, gutter, fascia and soffits - materials I have paid for and own

but was not reimbursed for.

They have now quoted me $ 6,429.06 to do the repairs and redo the sunroof.Desired Settlement: Duralum should replace my garage fascia, soffits and gutter and downspout free of charge - to bring it back to the condition it was in before they did any work.

Also they should reinstall the sunroof in the correct way- free of charge according to the life time warranty.
