Thank you for a timely response, disappointing though it is that you did not take responsibility for how Durand Chevrolet mishandled the situation. I did not file my initial complaint with the intent to collect a monetary settlement, as Durand Chevrolet did pay for a portion of the damage their service department rendered to my vehicle, though certainly not all the damage. I am filing my complaint in regards to the damaging remarks Durand Chevrolet then made to my husband’s place of employment, causing him undue financial hardship. This defamation of character, done in retaliation by Durand Chevrolet for having to cover the expenses of DURAND’S MISTAKE is quite appalling, unprofessional to say the least, and should not be allowed to stand unnoticed. I have lived in this area my entire life. Many of the members of my family are public school teachers, nurses, and firefighters. They serve their community every day and I am determined to ensure that they are never swindled first by Durand Chevrolet, nor is their personal life thrown into turmoil by an unprofessional business casting defamatory remarks at their place of employment. I will be sure to let everyone I know to be wary of Durand Chevrolet in ***. My husband could have died driving down a highway when a tire that Durand put on his car fell right off. And while Durand grudgingly paid some of the expenses to fix the vehicle, they then turned around and whispered false, damaging poison into the ears of my husband’s boss, causing completely unnecessary damage and stress. Please, save yourself the headache - steer clear of Durand Chevrolet in ***

To whom it may concern, Vehicle came into Durand Chevrolet on 5/11/with a failed safety inspection sticker for worn out rear tires,mileage at time was 114004,we replaced both rear tires,and reinspected vehicle for a good state
inspection sticker Customer then drove vehicle for a period of a month and about miles with no issues,vehicle was repaired at *** *** in *** *** CtDurand Chevrolet paid for entire repairs at time ,unknowing of what caused wheel issue, after customer picked up vehicle and drove it from ***'s he stated smoke was coming from same exact wheel thats was just repairedWe at Durand 's felt we took all measures to find out what did happen to customers vehicle and acted very professionally to resolve any issues at the time
