As of this date I have not received an email from Mr***, but I do know about his complaint. In June he made an ASIS purchased a *** *** and ASIS vehicles come without any implied warranty and the purchaser is responsible for any failures that may occur after delivery.
Shortly after the purchase he had a failure of the water pump and the battery, the dealership replaced his battery from another vehicle that was currently in stock at no charge and also replace his water pump with a 50/goodwill policy repair and at that time again restating that the vehicle was purchased ASIS but do to the fact that it had been a short time since delivery we wanted to help. In addition Mr*** prior to taking delivery decided to go home and rethink whether this vehicle was the right vehicle to purchase giving him ample time to make his decision and came back the next day to take delivery. So at this point there is nothing more that the dealership can do to address his concerns

The *** *** was purchased ASIS My wife and I were hesitant to purchase the vehicle. The only reason we decided to follow through with the purchase was the repeated verbal reassurance from the dealership that they stood behind their vehicles and would always take care of us, should anything gowrong with this vehicleWe agreed to pay the 50/cost of the fix to the failed FUEL PUMP (not water pump as stated by the dealership in their response), as this is an unpredictable item, and can fail without warningWe paid $at the time we picked up the vehicle. That bill was not itemized. It only stated the cost to us All other costs were listed as “internal” onthe billAs of today, an itemized bill stating the cost of parts and labor for the repair of the fuel pump has not yet been providedIt is still undeterminedif we actually paid the 50/split of costWe verbally requested an itemized bill and at the time of pickup and via phone with ***, the SalesManagerNone has been provided A copy of the bill as well as proof of our payment has been attached.I am dissatisfied with the replacement of my *** battery, which was replaced at the dealerships requestThe dealership offered to swap out the battery with a battery from another vehicle at no costAs I stated in my first complaint, the Official *** website recommends a battery replacement every 4-years in our climateDurand Toyota replaced my battery with a year old battery, which failed within weeks of the replacement. They may give me back the old *** battery that I originally purchased with my vehicle and take the dead battery or pay for the replacement battery that I already purchased. My other grievance was in regards to the balancing of the wheelsI mentioned to the salesman while on a test drive that the wheels seemed out of balance, and I would like that issue resolved as it is a safety issue. Upon delivery of the vehicle, I noticed the issue of the wheels had never been addressed. After the vehicles FUEL PUMP failed, and I had the vehicle towed back to the dealership, I requested that the wheels be balancedThe sales manager, ***, verbally agreed to have a technician address the problemIt is also listed on the bill for the fuel pump that “customer states vehicle has a vibration between 60-70MPH. Check and Advise.” After having my vehicle for days, the wheel balance had never been addressed, and I had to find another garage to perform the repairI am seeking reimbursement for the $cost of the wheel balance Regards,
*** ***

The [redacted] has been diagnosed by our service department and determined that the RH upper shock tower mount is binding and will need replacement, both front axle joints checked within factory specifications.  Vehicle was purchased on Jan 22nd with a 60 day 2,000 mile powertrain warranty.  The...

[redacted] is currently out of the powertrain warranty by time and the faulty components is not part of the powertrain so there is not any coverage, but after discussing with the owner it was decided that a 50/50 one time goodwill policy repair at dealer internal cost will be made and the owner has agreed.
