Review: On 6-6-13, I hired [redacted] of Duraseal, [redacted], to sealcoat my driveway and seal a large crack. I paid $190.00. The crack is not fully sealed and I called them twice and left detailed messages and have not had a return call I a week.Desired Settlement: Return to my house and properly seal the crack.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please withdraw the above complaint as Duraseal has responded and corrected the object of my complaint.

[redacted], Esquire

Sadly, I'm writing to NOT recommend a local business.
Our driveway was sealed about 3 or 4 weeks ago by a company called DuraSeal. Unfortunately, heavy rains came that night and the sealant has ruined our garage door and our driveway looks worse than when we started. The sealant is also all over the concrete coming into our garage.
I called them after this happened, spoke to someone I assume was the owner and he did come out and look. Two Saturdays ago, a crew came out with a power washer to clean it. The power washer was broken, they left and have not been heard from since. I don't honestly know that power washing will make much difference anyway.
If you choose to run a driveway sealing business, you need to be aware of the weather and of the possible ramifications of sealing a driveway prior to bad storms. As a result of this poor decision, we'll likely be buying a new garage door. If the risk was only that the driveway might not look great after the rain, I'd be more understanding, but needing to now spend what is likely well over $1,500 to replace the door is frustrating to put it very mildly.
We try our best to support local businesses, and this business is based in Doylestown, but in this case, I'd strongly advise you to not use them. Since I can get no response from them, I'm going to post this on all my social media outlets, contact the Revdex.com and the Chamber of Commerce as well as Angie's list. Since they are local, perhaps someone out there knows this company personally, I certainly mean you no offense, but I'm not left with many options.
