Review: Mr [redacted], representing DURCO.Inc. signed a contract to sell me a 2-bedroom modular home for which we indicated he had demolish ion/ salvage rights to. The property was located at [redacted] on a lot that CVS Pharmacy purchased to build its new store. I gave Mr. [redacted] (Alias - [redacted] a check in the amount of $6,500. We signed a contract for the sale of the modular home and Written in the contract I had 15 days to remove it from the Elysian Fields property to my lot. The transaction took place on June 25, 2014. ** deposited my check on June 25, 2014 and he withdrew the funds on June 26th, 2014. When I returned to the property on Monday, June 30th, ** had the modular home on a Davies Shoring truck to move it to his friend's (Mr. [redacted]) property at [redacted]. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 the property was gone. When I asked ** why, he responded "CVS told him he had to move the home immediately, and Mr. [redacted] was able to pay him to have Davies Shoring move it right away. I asked ** why wasn't I contacted over the weekend to discuss the matter and he told me he did not know my phone number. He had me and my husband's numbers because we spoke on several occasions prior to his wrongful action. Also, my number was in his phone because we tried on several attempts over the weekend to reach him for question in preparation of obtaining a permit to place the property on our lot.Desired Settlement: Replacement cost of property and expense costs relevant to obtaining an urgent permit.Amount of home worth. Expenses $550.00 for survey charges with the Office of Gilbert, Kelly, and Couturier. Architectural retainer expense in the amount of $3,775 plus 10% penalty on funds withdrawn from my retirement account in order to purchase the property! have it moved! and renovated. In addition, interest to date.
