I had arranged with Butler to come to my rental house to do a furnace repairI had told the woman who answered I'd need minutes notice to drive over there to meet them since it isn't my homeThey called and said they were at the house so I said I'd be there in minutesI arrived and they weren't thereTenant said they hadn't seen themI waited around a while then went homeOn arriving home Butler called and said they were there, so I explained what had happened and said I'd be back in minutesThe guy said they'd charge me for having to wait for meI thought that was rude since I had waited for themSo I suggested rescheduling for the next day so they could leaveHe said in that case they'd charge me for the service call todayThat is amazingly poor customer service and PR for their companyI can't imaging ever doing business with a company so inflexible or unwilling to make allowances for what was probably a miscommunication somewhere along the lineThe guy I was dealing with seemed to have a chip on his shoulder
Our air went out on SunafternoonCalled Butler Monwhen they openedShe said they could have someone here early afternoonWhen I explained that is when we would be leaving on vacation she said I'll put you first on the listThey came out right away &I had to have some one else come back to replace a coilCame out & we were on our way later that afternoonThank you Butler
Strong planning process, replacement of heating and a/c began within 48 hours.
Competent, on time, excellent supervision, customer contact and follow up.
I could not expect better service especially in light this replacement came
on top of water heater, washer and dryer and refrigerator replacement within
two weeks. Highly recommend this company
We contacted Butler for a quote on a new heating / cooling system. The sales manager came out twice and we were so impressed with his knowledge and general manner that we thought this is the company to go with. However for the life of me I can't figure out why a company would go to all that trouble to make a sale and then never get back with you. So needless to say we will be going with another company.
When the half-century old hot water heating system in my home finally gave up the ghost, Butler took on the challenging task of designing and installing a gas-forced air system for a home that had never been intended for such a system.
