Spring - we were contacted by T [redacted] to stathe sprinkler systemOur OWNER was the tech on site day of start-up During s/u the OWNER found multiple issues with the system & it was apparent that system had not been maintained for quite some timeHe then made recommendations on repairs to try The recommended repairs were completed, then several return visits were made to assist customer with additional system troublesWillingness to continue work with the customer & their satisfaction lead us to reverse a portion of the repairs invoiced NOT that the charges were mis-billed as MrT [redacted] states in the complaint.Spring - the irrigation system was activated (5/22/15) and the same issues from spring were encountered Prior to this appointment, MrsT [redacted] told the office that there were to be NO REPAIRS without owner notification and approval The tech told MrsT [redacted] that it is necessary to completely replace the valves, repairs to the obsolete valves were not working, and to contact the office for an estimate to do this replacement MrT [redacted] states in his complaint that a "$part did not fix the problem," there were no parts used nor charged for, there was additional time spent in the yard that day trying to get the water to stop runningOur office never received an estimate request call nor a complaint on invoicingCustomer service & satisfaction is our priority, but NO WORD from a customer and lack of payment make it hard for us to remedy any issues In fact this Revdex.com complaint (9/1/2015) was the first time we heard of any issues with the repairs done (5/22/2015)Repair recommendations we made were in the interest of saving the customer money, in hindsight we should have suggested complete valve replacement from the start This would have cost much more, but might have been the better thing to do in the interest of system operation Just as in our previous experiences, we would have more than happy to work with Mr& MrsT [redacted] on the invoice in question - IF we would have been contacted! Steven T*** Spring - We contacted Dustys sprinklers for start up of system that had not been activated for some time due to the house being on the market The first responing technician was not "the owner", but admittedly by Dustys sprinkler was a new "inexperienced technician" This was the case of the first dispute of billing by my wife and I that we were charged for an "inexperienced technician" that did not successfully complete any meaningful work towards fixing our system, iewe were billed for no work being completed, other than someone being present on the property, that didn't have the experience to accomplish the work I called to talk to "the Owner", specifically, after first visit and billing but was NEVER, in the course of any of this business transaction or any other, contacted by anyone in the office other than the employee who answers the phoneThe second responding technician, who was very helpful and professional, did after two, maybe three, return visits leave us with a fully functional sprinkler system Afterwards, we were in contact with the office person several times in dispute over the initial billing for the work that we were billed for Finally, after multiple attempts over the phone, we were able to come to an agreement, according to the office person, on behest of "the owner", again never personally speaking to "the owner", to adjust our bill to reflect the work that was not performed by the initial technician All work performed by the second responding technician was much appreciated and paid for in fullSystem functioned "flawlessly" for the remainder of the season Fall - Dustys came to shut down the system by blowing compressed air into the system to expell all water so the lines cannot be damaged by freeze We were billed and paid in full for this service They did what they said they would do so we paid them Invoice #Date 10/18/2014.Spring - Dustys came to activate system by charging the system with water but the system did not work properly Dustys charged my credit card the $dollars start up fee but nothing was started Again we were billed for no services recieved other than them being on our propertyThe first responding technician for start up explained to MrsT*** that a $part would most likely fix the issue MrsT*** had stated that no work be performed without her consent and consented to the part installation by the first responding technician The part installation did not fix the system The system did not start, it does not presently work The system worked flawlessly for the remainder of the seasonNot for sure why the same problems were encountered in spring of after extensive work was "suppossedly" done in Why the same problems now, if the problems were fixed in spring of 2014? I do believe some meaningful work was performed in because we went from having an non-functioning system to one that worked perfectly The second responding technician for spring start up did speak with MrsT*** about needed repairs and stated that an estimate would be prepared and sent to us upon completion Invoice #290071, dated 5/22/states, under Tech comments -we will put together a estimate for replacing the valves and putting in new valve boxes This will be SENT out when completed." No estimate was ever recieved With no work being completed but invoiced for and sent, no further contact from the company other than invoices with late fees for said work that was not completed, we were unwilling to pay for services not rendered Please understand that "just as in our previous experiences" it cost us valuable time away from our jobs to work with you on the invoice in question, during your business hours We found the Revdex.com to be far cheaper as we can communicate and arbitrate with a third party after our working hours Please understand that this process takes considerable time and effort to exercise, valuable time that cannot be invoiced to Dustys Sprinklers, and cannot be recoveredWe accept the $credit to our account with Dustys Sprinklers, however, please remove us from all your contact and mailing lists Steven Toon
