Purchased a vehicle from this companyWaited about weeks for deliveryUpon arrival the vehicle would not start. After having it towed to a mechanic shop and determining the carburetor needed to be replaced I contacted the owner He agreed to pay for half of the cost and sent out a check to cover the cost..Owner is a stand up business man..salesman was not so professionalOverall descent experience

I consigned my Ford with Dusty Old Cars however, several months later my job changed and required a move out of state, which required me to take the car back Even though the car had not sold, and Dusty Old Cars had not recouped their costs, Stephan the president honored the contract, even though it cost him moneyHe stated that to keep his word and still do business was more important than making a buckNow that's not something you hear often about used car salesmen I was impressed that while he is in the business to make money, his reputation and honor seem to be more important to him than his bank account!

This review is due to the owner, Stephan C***, willingness to take time to talk to a customer and make sure the consignment deal was handled in the correct manner I consigned my Mercury Montclair with Dusty Old Cars and although there was a delay in the payment because it was shipped to a purchaser in Dubai and an issue with the original invoice, the owner was willing to both email me and call me up personally to fix the issues that the other representatives were unable to help me with I greatly appreciate the help provided by Stephen and although the process was far from smooth I know their move to Nashua, NH during this process had a part to play in the matter

a big thank you dustyoldcars and josh
I bought mg mgb superb at a very competitive price
I 'm french and I josh found cheap carrier to send directly home in France
thank you for your professionalism
I bought the car without seeing it making you confidence and I was not disappointed

Don't go near this place! Bought a car from them, it needed a repair almost immediatelySo we fixed it, no complaining, just did itAbout months after we bought it we decided to move out of stateWith no time to sell it we called the dealership and they said they would put it on consignmentThey said they would take about 1,000$ for fees associated with selling it, our return would be about 5,500-6,000$ about a month after moving it was sold, but the owner then told us that we would only be receiving $ 1,700!!! The reason stated was that they had to do many repairs to get it sold! Keep in mind we just purchased this vehicle from them no more than months prior and it sat in our driveway because my husband was nervous about salt damaging the paint....it was hardly driven and it needed $4,worth of repairs?! They didn't even let us know that they intended to do these repairs, they just did it and didn't say a thing about it until it was too late for us to do anythingAfter visiting the reviews on the Rip off report webpage it seems like they have done this kind of thing pretty oftenFurthermore, after I decided to write a review regarding my experience at this shop the owner proceeded to call my husband and threatened us to take down the negative reviews claiming he could always tack on more fees so we wouldn't even get the $1,So Don't believe the fake Yelp reviews on their webpage they are not honest or professional in anyway

I just want to thank Brandon and Josh at Dusty Old Cars for making my dream of owning a Packard a realityWhen I found the Packard on Classic Cars .Com it was Brandon's listingAlthough I had never heard of Dusty Old Cars, apparently the are the largest retailer of classic and antique cars in the northeastAfter meeting with Brandon, inspecting the car, and agreeing on a priceI applied for a bank loan and was shot downLike most people, most of my energies go into working to pay the billsAnd of course things go in lateUnfortunately this effects ones credit scoreThis is where Dusty Old Cars was so helpfulThey actually have a layaway planAfter putting down the required deposit, I sent money monthlyI managed to pay off the car in monthsIt was gratifying to watch the balance drop, and when it was paid for, Brandon made sure the car was taken out of storage, all the fluids were drained and replaced, and he made sure that if there were any issues, that they would be addressed before the car was delivered to my driveway via car carrierConsidering I was buying the car "as is", I really didn't expect that level of serviceThroughout the payment plan Brandon or Josh were quick to respond to my emails, calls, questions and/ or concernsI found them to be honorable, professional, personable, and politeThe car was delivered the day before my birthdayI couldn't be happier with the whole experienceA sincere thank you to Brandon, Josh, and all, the guys at Dusty Old Cars

I recently purchased a car from Dusty Old CarsAlthough not perfect, it is a fun car that will be great to drive in the warm weather I did have an issue, but the company was willing to work with me on finding a solution
I would recommend anyone looking a good priced, decent car to check into them

You watch the shows of con artists and scammers online and never think it will effect youThis outfit is the biggest group of sharks in the businessBoth Derry NH, where they were run out of and Nashua have a stack of complaints with the respective police departments so lengthy that Nashua actually has a specific person dealing with the complaints at this pointThey draw you in by telling you whatever you need to hear then charge you thousands more while you experience the most high schoolish workers you'll ever experienceThey do their best to offer a waiting area and a quaint office experience while behind the scenes there is a complaint file with the Attirney Generals office as long as their arm as they themselves put itGo ahead and get sucked inEven a clock is right twice a dayAs God is my witness this is the worst thing you can do in the hopes of selling your carWe are currently filing and taking them to court after over a year if nightmarish, insanity and Un-professionalismBe warned, you will lose your shirt calling their number or signing those,"contract"Don't be fooled by any positive replies as they admitted to writing their own to offset all the negatives and pending lawsuits!

I recently purchased Porsche (sight unseen) from Dusty Old Cars
The large number of pictures and specific information provided by Dealer was very helpful thru the purchase process
Upon delivery, a couple problems were discovered After notifying the Dealer, problems were addressed and and a large portion of the repair cost was compensated
I give Dusty Old Cars high marks for handling the situation quickly

My purchase from Dusty Olld Cars was

My experience with Dusty's Old Cars was very positiveI live in NY and since they are in NH, I only saw the car onlineJosh on their sales team was very helpful in answering all my questions They spent a few weeks making sure the vehicle was in great shape and the delivery was seamlessThe car is even better than what was advertised and they were a real pleasure to deal withI give them my highest possible recommendation

I was looking for a convertible and found Dusty old cars on line. Their web page is very informative, easy to navigate and very well done. It is very helpful to see this many photos of a car and one gets a good feeling about what the car is about.
Lane took a lot of time to show us around and we could get a full impression of the variety of cars and also of his passion about this cars.
Josh, the sales manager, was just great to work with. He is very experienced, very friendly and very honest about their cars. Josh was giving us his honest opinion and was not hiding anything about the car. It was just wonderful to do business with him.
I will recommend whole heartedly Dusty old Cars to anybody who is interested in classic cars and a great experience!!

As the President and owner of my own business for the last 15 years, as well as a Professional Firefighter for 20. I know firsthand what it takes to be successful. The answer is having great employees, honesty, and appreciation for each and every customer.
Having worked with Dusty Old Cars over the last year, it is obvious that they have that philosophy down as well. After my daughter purchased a classic car privately it was soon obvious that due to its size, steering and brakes it was not the car for her. She is 4'8 and 85 lbs. The fact that she is a nanny and it had no rear seat belts also made it clear that this car had to go. When your 18 years old you often leap first and look later.
We contacted Dusty Old Cars and sent them some photos. Her 1963 Buick with only 64,000 miles was just what they specialize in. They sent a flatbed to our home located over an hour away and after loading it carefully, it was on its way. They took professional photos showing every angle and quickly had it listed for sale.
My 18 year old daughter was forced to take a second auto loan to purchase a car that would allow her to meet her job requirements. She now had 2 car payments and two insurance payments. When it became obvious as she prepared to start college that she could no longer afford both vehicles, the owner Stephan purchased her vehicle from her and even gave her a little extra for school. A very class act not seen today in business where profit often means everything.
I hope one day to purchase a classic vehicle from them and if I ever had to consign another one, it would definitely be with Dusty Old Cars given my very positive experience.

Shortly after I posted negative results about my experience, I was proven wrong in my judgement off this company( Dusty Old Cars ). I received an email and a phone call responding to my phone call with his sales manager and I was told that he ( the owner ) wanted to make things right. After his response I felt I had to remove my postings and eat my own words which in retrospect I jumped the gun.Well I'd Like to let you know that he has more than made up for the incident.

I consigned my 1964 Ford with Dusty Old Cars however, several months later
my job changed and required a move out of state, which required me to take
the car back. Even though the car had not sold, and Dusty Old Cars had not
recouped their costs, Stephan the president honored the contract, even
though it cost him money. He stated that to keep his word and still do
business was more important than making a buck. Now that's not something you
hear often about used car salesmen. I was impressed that while he is in the
business to make money, his reputation and honor seem to be more important
to him than his bank account!

I consigned my early second generation Camaro with Dusty Old Cars in the fall and they did such a good job of marketing it that it quickly sold. There were some complications following the sale on the buyers end, but Stephan and the DOC crew did a great job of assuring I was made whole in the end. During this process the folks from DOC kept me up to speed via personal telephone calls from the owner himself as well as timely responses to emails.

I was so pleased with my experience with Stephan, Brandon and the whole DOC crew that I turned around and bought another classic car from their extensive inventory and plan to be a long-term client of DOC.

I recently purchased a 1967 Mercury Cougar from DustyOldCars.com. I live in Texas, so was concerned about buying from the internet and not being able to view the vehicle personally. The extensive selection of photos helped a lot in deciding to purchase the car. Let's face it, there can be no ultimate guarantees when buying a 50 year old car. Brandon and Josh were also very helpful in describing certain features on the vehicle and giving me a realistic overview of what to expect. DOC even spent several days going over the vehicle and replacing several key items before it was shipped to me. I was delighted when I received the vehicle to see that the overall condition exceeded my expectations. From a buyer's perspective, I received excellent service and I consider the vehicle to be good value for the price I paid.

I'm writing this review to warn/explain how Dusty Old Cars does business with their customers when consigning cars. I gave them my car to sell (consign) for me. I signed a contract and they sold my car for me and they paid me as well. What I didn't realize is what's in the contract. I guess I'm too much of a trusting person. When you consign your car to Dusty Old Cars you are giving them permission to do any repairs they feel that is needed to sell the car. They do these repairs without your permission and charge you for everything and you don't find out about it until you receive your check for the sale of your car. I gave them a minimum amount on how much I would accept to sell my car and I was under the impression that that's the minimum amount I would receive but this is not the case. I received half of what I told them my minimum was. I contacted them and was told that they did everything right. They sold my car for an above amount of what my minimum was but the problem is they did a handful of repairs to my car without asking for my permission first and deducted the parts and labor from the sale of the car which left me with very little, half of what I was expecting. I was told that it's in the contract (which it is) and there is nothing they can do for me. I'm very disappointed in them. The car I gave them to sell was my baby and I was forced to sell it due to circumstances and I'm now left with basically nothing in my mind. I never would have sold my car for the amount they gave me. I honestly never thought a business would operate this way. The basics of customer service is to communicate everything with the customer. They also never provided any kind of proof that my car needed this work done to it. So when/if you consign your car with them, you are giving them permission to do whatever they please with the car without you knowing. It's almost like they own the car, not you, once you sign that contract. It's very disappointing and disturbing. Again, the reason for me taking the time to write this is to make people aware. If you want to sell your car, I recommend selling it on your own or going through another company. There are many online websites where you can sell your car on your own. If you do chose to consign with Dusty Old Cars, please read the contract very carefully and make sure you know and understand everything that's involved with the process.

The Crew at Dusty Old Cars made selling my classsic car easy from begining to end. They saved me so much time and money with getting the details, photos, and amazing videos out locally/globally as well as making the vehicle look and run better than ever. All I had to do was wait until my check arrived!...and when I am ready for my next classic car I know where to go..thanks again guys! ..
