Spring 2014 - we were contacted by T[redacted] to start-up the sprinkler system. Our OWNER was the tech on site day of start-up.  During s/u the OWNER found multiple issues with the system & it was apparent that system had not been maintained for quite...

He then made recommendations on repairs to try.  The recommended repairs were completed, then several return visits were made to assist customer with additional system troubles. Willingness to continue work with the customer & their satisfaction lead us to reverse a portion of the repairs invoiced NOT that the charges were mis-billed as Mr. T[redacted] states in the complaint.Spring 2015 - the irrigation system was activated (5/22/15) and the same issues from spring 2014 were encountered.  Prior to this appointment, Mrs. T[redacted] told the office that there were to be NO REPAIRS without owner notification and approval.  The tech told Mrs. T[redacted] that it is necessary to completely replace the valves, repairs to the obsolete valves were not working, and to contact the office for an estimate to do this replacement.  Mr. T[redacted] states in his complaint that a "$35 part did not fix the problem," there were no parts used nor charged for, there was additional time spent in the yard that day trying to get the water to stop running. Our office never received an estimate request call nor a complaint on invoicing. Customer service & satisfaction is our priority, but NO WORD from a customer and lack of payment make it hard for us to remedy any issues.  In fact this Revdex.com complaint (9/1/2015) was the first time we heard of any issues with the repairs done (5/22/2015). Repair recommendations we made were in the interest of saving the customer money, in hindsight we should have suggested complete valve replacement from the start.  This would have cost much more, but might have been the better thing to do in the interest of system operation.  Just as in our previous experiences, we would have more than happy to work with Mr. & Mrs. T[redacted] on the invoice in question - IF we would have been contacted!  Since the work the tech performed did not fix the system we will credit the account the charge for extra time in yard.. $168.00 ... $153 invoice balance + late fees from June/July/Aug. Dusty's Sprinklers4106 N Star BlvdGreat Falls, MT 59405406-454-3308

Review: Dustys sprinklers has a business practice of sending technicians that cannot correctly fix or diagnose an issue on site but the company charges you for their time. Before the problem is fixed you are charged for the non rendered services of the incompetent service tech. In 2014 Dustys came to our house to fix the in ground sprinkler system. After numerous unsuccseful attempts all with billing errors an employee finally got the system working. We sorted out the bill after numerous phone calls. Fall of 2014 Dustys returns to winterize system. Spring 2015 Dustys returns to power up system for advertised $65. System does not pressurize wont work. Tech informs my wife a part will fix the problem and will cost $35. She says OK. Part did not fix problem and total bill for non working sprinkler system is $218.00. This is exactly the way our business agreement started in 2014 and I suspect how alot of business is conducted by this company hoping people wont challenge invoices. It took significant time and effort on the phone last summer to resolve this issue. Time that my wife and I had to miss work for and were not compensated for. Just want to end this terrible business relationship for good. Other people should know that there are businesses like this and they should research really hard before choosing this company.Desired Settlement: We wish not to have to pay for the billed invoice. We recieved no product or functional service for this work. Dustys basically charged us to walk on our property. Dustys promised estimates for and repairs on invoice. We have had no contact and wish to dissolve our business relations with them for good.
