Dutch Girl Cleaners Reviews (5)

My name is *** ***, the owner of the dry cleaners Dutch Girl CleanersI have over ten years of experience in the dry cleaning business and my partner, who manages the dry cleaning spotting, has over years of experienceWe always do our best to clean customer’s clothes and try to clean as
much as we can for the best result. I remember when my cashier placed the jacket on the front hanging rack; the customer opened the plastic cover of the jacket and pointed to one spot where she found some lint so my cashier removed itThen she complained that the jacket was not cleaned and asked for her money backI explained to the customer that the jacket had been cleaned and had gone through the proper cleaning process and if she was not satisfied with the result of the jacket cleaning, I would try to clean it again at no additional chargeHowever, the customer asked for her money back, claiming that the jacket had never been cleaned and said that we deceived her by charging her without cleaning her jacket and that she did not want to come back to the storeI told her that we had cleaned the jacket using the proper cleaning procedure and we would clean her jacket again if she was not satisfiedDespite this, she kept asking for her money back claiming that her jacket was not cleanedI told her that I coul d not give her money back because we had cleaned the jacket already, and had used all of the necessary resources and effortMy cashier found only small piece of lint, which she removed right away with lint removal.Once again, I will not give her money back since we had already cleaned the jacket with our best effort and even gave her the option to have it cleaned again when she was not satisfied the first time. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]Despite what [redacted] says my coat was given back to me dirty and full of lint and hair, which was not the condition I gave my coat to them in. The coat was clearly not cleaned which is why the employee rushed to use the lint brush. I still remain that I should receive a full refund for lack of service.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,

Review: I am submitting a second complaint against this business upon speaking with the owner today. On the morning of Novembe[redacted], I called this cleaners to see if they still had an evening gown I had brought to them in 2012. I explained to them I understood if they no longer had it, and that the reason it took this long to call was because I thought my mother had picked up the dress when in truth it was a miscommunication. The girl on the phone told me that she had spoken to her boss and that I could come get the dress that evening.

When I came to get the dress at 5:30 p.m., the counter girl told me, without apology or even the slightest empathy, that I would have to come back tomorrow because she did not know where the dress was. I won't go into details of how rude and disrespectful she was, because that is why I submitted my previous Revdex.com complaint. She did not give me a time frame of when to return.

Rather than call again on the morning of November [redacted] (since this got me no where on Novembe[redacted]), I drove over there and arrived at approximately 9:45 a.m. (again taking time off work to get to the cleaners during open hours). The owner informed me, without apology or any type of empathy: "The dress is gone. We don't have it anymore." I tried to explain what happened the day before, and I did express how upset I was, but she would not let me talk. She said the law protected her because she had the dress for more than 6 months and that she "was not a storage unit." She then told me to leave, and when I said I would not leave until she did the right thing, she threatened to call the cops. I told her to go ahead, as I wanted to file a complaint. However, after waiting some time, the cops did not arrive. I was missing work, so I left. I should point out that while I waited, she told me that she had a " [redacted] year" because her husband passed away. I apologized for her loss, but said that did not have anything to do with the fact that they told me they had my dress, mislead me twice, then informed me it was gone.

To sum up my complaints: This business told me on Novembe[redacted] (morning) that they had my evening gown. When I arrived on Novembe[redacted] (evening) to pick it up, they told me to come back the next day. It wasn't until the next day (my second 30-mile round trip to the store) that they told me the dress was "gone." They lied to me multiple times on Novembe[redacted], and did nothing to rectify the situation on November [redacted], and threatened to call the cops because I told them they should reimburse me not necessarily because they gave the dress away, but because they were not truthful and sent me on a run-around two times in under 24 hours. The owner repeatedly told me: "That's not my problem."Desired Settlement: Either reimburse me for my dress, or find my dress and return it to me in original condition.

Review: Dropped off several coats to be cleaned upon going to pick up the store is closed gone out of business, no sign telling where I can pick up my coats. I never received a call informing that the store was closing.Desired Settlement: Would like information concerning the where abouts of my coats.
