I am currently employed at Dvinci and I love it! We are a big family and always strive to be the best! Thank you to management for being so awesome. The bonuses and competitions are soooo much fun!

Dvinci Energy is a subcontractor of *** Solar. We signed a contract in May, 2019 with Dvinci & *** Solar to have a solar system installed. That would included a solar system, new roof & an Eco B. We paid the entire sum to *** Solar ($55,904) for them to pay their subcontractors. Today the roofer called and told us he had not been paid by Dvinci and he was contacting an attorney to have a lien put on our house. We have signed contracts that state Dvinci will pay for the roofing project.

Hello, We recognize that this is an unfortunate situation and first want to apologize that this could have ever happened to any client associated with Dvinci. Dvinci is in a legal dispute with our installer *** that we are currently working through and this situation has unfortunately been caught in the mix. Contractually, the client is ***'s client, and therefore they are responsible for resolving this matter with the client. If you could attach the roofing agreement in a response, that will help our legal team get it straight on our end, however you will need to contact *** in driving resolution with the roofing company. Thank you, Dvinci Team

I had rooftop solar installation done on my house through DVinci Energy and the system went live on Oct 18, 2018. *** was the salesperson for the solar system. I paid the full amount for solar installation which included re-roofing of the house. However, the actual re-roofing was done by me and not by DVinci Energy. As a result, *** on behalf of DVinci Energy agreed to pay the re-roofing charges incurred by me within 60 days after installation. In spite of repeated reminders, *** has not paid me the re-roofing amount of 7000 dollars and there is no indication he is going to pay it to me. Also, I have an agreement signed by *** to this effect which I can produce if needed.

We first apologize for any miscommunication and also the long timeline this project has taken. It is never an experience we want our customers to have and take it very seriously. That being said, below are the notes on the project up until two days ago. It is documented that the utility company has taken months to install the required *** meter for the system, and before we have activation - we are not able to pay out the recognized owed $7,000 for the roof reimbursement. The long delay stemmed from a customer request to apply to the *** incentive program, thus needing a *** meter in order for the incentive to be taking advantage of. We complied even though it was far past when we typically apply for applicable incentives, so as to get the customer more money towards the system through the state program. While this outlier timeline has been very long, and we empathize with the customer, we stand by our practices in running a sustainable business in a challenging industry. We will pay the owed balance within 60 days of activation. Thank you. 7/9- *** will go to the house today and make sure the system is up and running again and let me know-7/9- *** meter installed per customer-7/2- L/M letting him know we reached out to *** again but we haven't heard back he is more then welcome to call and ask them the hold up-6/26- L/M letting customer now that *** doesnt give us dates or times but we were told last week per my VM that it would be this week. I also emailed him-6/21- L/M letting customer know that *** will be out next week to change the meter and turn the system back on-6/17- L/M letting customer know we have asked *** to put a rush on the meter exchange-6/11- Emailed *** at *** the *** Application number so she can generate *** for *** Meter -6/6- Submitted *** Application ***-*** -6/6- New UB sent to *** for *** program-6/6- *** signed *** form to customer -6/6- Created a case so once redesign complete and customer signs *** form and new UB I can submit to *** Program -6/6- LM letting customer now some docs will be sent to him in order to get put on the *** program as he didnt make the cut for *** in time. I apologized for the delay but let him know we will take care of this asap also told him we need a current UB-

1st Light Energy delayed their application for the *** program even though my system was up and running from October 18, 2018 which was well within the November 2018 cut-off for *** program. After repeatedly calling and emailing 1st Light Energy to find out the status of *** application, they eventually put in an application for *** program as indicated on June 6, 2019. Not only did I not get into the *** program which was more remunerative, 1st Light Energy delayed my *** program application by more than 6 months. So, it is not the utility company which caused the delay. I should actually be compensated for the delay in *** program application by 1st Light Energy along with the delay in getting the 7000 dollars of re-roofing money. I would consider the 60 days to be counted from the time when my system was initially activated on October 18, 2018.
Regards

We respectfully disagree on our handling of this matter even though we acknowledge a poor experience which we empathize with. *** will receive his owed money for the roof - the complaint seems to be trending in the direction against another company for the ***/*** matter.

FCC Complaint #*** made on 5/24/19. FTC Complaint submitted 5/24/19.
On 5/13/19 at 4:55 PM I received a call on my cell phone number from a Chicago number . This was a robocall because I heard a beep right after I answered. The live representative said I had responded to a card requesting information about solar energy. I did not do this. I feigned interest to see what company this person worked for. He said he worked for *** and they were based in Chicago, IL. He set me up with an appointment with Dvinci Energy out of Natick, MA. They were going to send a sales representative to my residence on the afternoon of 5/16/19. He provided me with an appointment identifier code ***.

A person named *** called my cell phone on the day of the appointment 5/16/19 at 12:50 PM. He said the company that sets up the appointments is called *** and that they are based in Chicago. I declined the appointment since I only made the appointment to find out if Dvinci was using this company that called me originally. He did not provide his last name.

To see who at Dvinci Energy authorized this kind of marketing program I called Dvinci's Natick office at on 5/23/19 and left a message with my name and phone number. I could get no response calling any of their other numbers. No live person would ever answer their phone. The phone number to their CEO which is on their Revdex.com page has a full mailbox. A person named *** called me back that same day at 12:25 PM. He did not provide his last name, nor the name of the company. He said Dvinci does abide by the Do Not Call list as does their third party marketing organizations. I told him I would be reporting their company to the FCC, the Do Not Call list, and the Massachusetts Attorney General. My phone number is on the Do Not Call list, it is a cell phone, I have opted out of these calls in the past, and I have never owned a home so I am not even eligible for solar.

Dvinci Energy Response • Jun 03, 2019

We do work with a separate entity, named ***, who telemarkets for us to set appointments with homeowners interested in residential solar panels. *** takes DNC lists extremely seriously and takes extra measures to make sure people on the DNC lists do not get called. Attached is a call log from the dialer system *** uses with ***'s correspondence with the number provided. We have not outbound calls to this number, but have 9 inbound calls from this number. We placed the number that called on our DNC call list the first time we heard from this number upon request. The number called in 8 more times to our confusion. We are not sure what happened or if the consumer complaining has multiple numbers but regardless we apologize for any disturbance and will continue to take measures to make sure we are not calling anyone on the Do Not Call list.

Illegal marketing activities are rampant in solar energy sales. Your third party marketing organizations are using VOIP services from IP addresses to cold call lists of people. Your third party marketing organization calls themselves "***." Their actual office number cannot be found. Every person I talked to at Dvinci was cagey and did not reveal their full name. This gives them cover to continue calling people's cell phones. *** is engaged in a class action lawsuit for this same illegal marketing practice. *** Regards

Very professional and knowledgeable. Sam S was very helpful throughout the entire process. He was quick to respond to questions and was always able to provide timely answers.

The representatives that came to our house were very thorough. The were there every step of the way in this process. The only glitch was ***. They said a new transformer was needed on our street but it took almost a year to get it done! Thank you Dvinci Energy!

Very happy with Dvinci Energy, Inc. I had them install 18 *** Solar Panels to meet or supplement my energy consumption. went very well and my roof is now an energy producer. I am very happy with the results.

I have sent many e-mails and text messages but there was no proper responses..

I sent a check on Oct 18th 2018 for $29,144 for my solar project, I am suppose to receive a check back for $14,000 for roofing with in two weeks of time and solar project should have been completed with in 3 weeks after they receive my check. As of today I haven’t received my roofing check($14,000) and my project is not completed. I have given enough time to complete my entire project but I don’t see much progress.
I tried to reach him (***,***) by phone and text messaging for updates on pending items mentioned above but there was no proper response or updates from him. He did not return my number of phone calls. It has been more than 5 months, my project has not yet been completed and I don’t see any progress.
In message chatting, he (***, ***) texted me multiple times that he will take care of it ASAP but I see no progress. Because of my project delay, I lost solar energy credits, interest and production of solar energy for the past 5 months.

I hope you will take care of the pending items (check for roofing & solar project) and resolve the issue immediately.

Thanks

We greatly appreciate this customer, and his feedback. Our operations team has been on top of this project daily. We have documented notes of communications with the finance company that financed his solar project, the town that handles the building/electrical permit, and the state for his state incentive that he is eligible for. This customer missed the first cut off for the state incentive program called SREC - and we made him well aware of this possibility. However, we immediately submitted him for the new program. Unfortunately, due to the limitedness of the new state incentive (known as SMART program), we are at the mercy of their timeline. They have dragged their feet with this process, and its utterly out of our control. we continue to follow up regularly to move this project forward - as we are also not paid as a company until it is fully progressed as a "turned on" project. He also cannot get the reimbursement for his reroof that he claims he is supposed to get until his project is complete. regardless, we value *** as a customer, and his trust in us - and we will continue to relentlessly push this project forward until he receives his state incentive, his reroof reimbursement, and until he is a satisfied customer. Please let us know if you have any suggested courses of action. *** has not been reasonable with us in trying to resolve this matter (which we totally understand), and his cooperation will only help speed up the completion of this project.

[ To
"our operations team has been on top of this project daily", the same
message was being communicated to me for the past 5 months but there was no
progress. ***
installed new smart meter back in February 2019, but there was no action from
Dvinci's side. I expect to see some progress if their operations team is on top
of my project daily.

There was
no finance for my project, I have paid full amount by check on 10/18/2018
(check# ***, Amount: $29,144.00)

I signed
the project documents back in September 2018. When speaking to ***, he
confirmed that once I pay the payment, he will start the project and complete in 3 weeks. I paid the payment on 10/18/2018, SREC expires on
11/26/2018, the delay is on ***'s side and I lost total credits around $6,000
in 10 years.

To "He
also cannot get the reimbursement for his reroof that he claims he is supposed
to get until his project is complete", this is a false statement, I did not
expect from *** such incorrect statements. He promised that as soon as he
receives the check and it is cleared, he is going to send me back my roofing amount
($14,000), he promised the same to my friends who I referred but it is the same
status for them also.

I do not
understand how I am not reasonable to ask for the status of my project
completion and refund my roofing check after 6 months. If I was not reasonable,
I would have cancelled my project back on November 25, 2018 when Dvinci/*** was
unable to complete my project before SREC expired. In my opinion, I have given enough time to
complete my project and most of the statements mentioned by Dvinci are not true,
I have all proofs including *** meter installation. I have been very
reasonable with ***, because he is a very nice person, I trusted him. I have
given him enough time, he is not even responding to my phone calls or emails. I
have no time to follow up with ***, I need to know the outcome immediately or
else Dvinci can cancel my project and send me
the check back.

Understand your frustration. The delay was not on our side. It was on yours. We had multiple communications about submitting for incentive with more urgency, but maybe you didn’t believe the real urgency of why we needed to hear back from you much sooner than we did on multiple occasions. Response: I do not want to hear false statements. I am repeating the same statement, I signed the agreement last week of September 2018, as you promised, project should have been completed in 3 weeks (before 10/30/2018), SREC expires on 11/26/2018, hence I do not understand how the delay is on my side. I am really sorry that the pushing through to complete this is out of our control (due to SMART Program). I have given good deal, it will be well worth the wait. Response: I referred one of my friends (***), Dvinci started his project (SMART program) mid of November 2018 and completed by December 2018. If the delay is due to SMART program, how did he get his project completed? I agree with Dvinci that they gave me a good deal, but due to the delay of my project I lost more money than what they offered and Dvinci is also aware of that. Dvinci thinks I am rushing but I am not. My SMART meter was installed during the third week of February 2019, but there was no progress on my project until now. I need an answer when my project would be completed and when the check will be sent. We want to make clear that we are on the same team here, ***, and want to work together to deliver on our commitments. We do not want this to feel like its us VS you to get this resolved. Dvinci Energy Response • May 15, 2019

Hi, We understand the frustration and are working to resolve this as soon as possible. In response to the customer's latest response, it is unfortunate that we did not receive Permission to Operate (PTO) by the SREC deadline. The customer signed a contract in September but as documented in the operational notes we had to resign on 10/1 due to the customer requesting a new type of panel. Solar in MA takes 3-6 months on average from contract signed to PTO given the timelines of engineering, permitting, utility approval, utility inspections, building inspections, etc. This made it virtually impossible to get PTO before 11/26 to get him in on the SREC program given the date his requested changes were resolved and the contract was final. The Smart program created a long backlog of smart meters which has prolonged PTO far past the typical timeline - a process completely out of both Dvinci's and our installer's control, but in the hands of the utility. We expect PTO any day and all claims will be resolved. Thank you

I don’t agree what you are saying and all you are making up. This complaint open more than a month back and no resolution and you guys are saying always will take care of it ASAP. When will you take care of it? You are not answering my question and prolonging things with no resolution. Already 8 months done and still you are not willing to complete my project. Regards

Dvinci has been a great solution financially for our family for years to come. Our representative Devin has made the process extremely smooth despite our request to change the amount of panels needed halfway during the process. Their flexibility, customer service, responsiveness and product cannot be matched. We couldn’t be happier and have been recommending Devin and Dvinci to friends and family!

Dvinci Energy Response • Sep 05, 2018

We appreciate your business and so glad that Devin was able to provide extraordinary service! Welcome to the Dvinci Family!

Good service and good people.

Devin and Dvinci Energy are a great team! Devin has worked through the application process with me and has diligently persisted with the design team to optimize the solar energy captured on my property. I am very satisfied with the personal service provided and look forward to a system that will benefit me for years to come.

Dvinci has been very easy to work with. The sales rep made a time to visit me at home (at my convenience), and we spent an hour running some numbers and seeing how much installing solar panels would cost versus how much it would save. My rep was able to get me all the information I needed quickly, and I've been dealing with the same rep for every step of the process since (so much better than the inter-departmental shuffling where all my info seems to get lost every time)! I absolutely recommend them as your go-to if you're interested in going solar.

I was skeptical at first. I didn't want to listen to a long drawn out rehearsed speech. It wasn't like that at all. It was a quick knowledgeable presentation. The agent, Nick S. was professional and well educated on the topic of solar energy. After it was all said and done I chose Dvinci Energy for my solar energy. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

In the past, solar never really interested me. After meeting with Sam and seeing the true benefits that it has, I decided it was a no brainer. First of all, the panels are by far the best looking that I've seen. Second, Sam handled everything. He let me know on a weekly basis what the update was. I now plan on putting solar on some of my other properties and telling all my friends about Dvinci.

Dvinci Energy Response • Jul 26, 2018

Thank you! Welcome to the Dvinci Family!

I had a very positive experience with DVinci Energy and more specifically one of your employees, Nick S. I was given all the information I needed to know without the hassle of listening to a rehearsed sales pitch. He knew his stuff and was very personable and made your business sound top notch, which I believe. Overall definitely a good experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a smart investment.

No games, no high-pressure sales, no funny business.
I compared Divinci to a well-established travel agent. The same way that I would trust a travel agent to find me the best airfare, car rental, and attraction tickets- DVinci found me the best solar company, panels, and installation. They were attentive, professional, and overall ideal to work with. I would totally recommend solar in general but I’m telling everyone to go through DVinci to make sure that they get the Best overall package. Their sales representative was a young man named Craig who was knowledgeable and did a great job of looking at our property, educating us on financial aspects, and putting everything together so that we could make the best decision for our household. Very Very Impressed.

Easy effortless process! Installation was today. Looks great!??????

We had a very positive experience working with Dvinci. Ahmed was communicative and responsive. We were given detailed explanations at every part of the process and have had no issues whatsoever.

This is the kind of company that will take this world by its heart and with brilliance and passion transform it. Creating a powerfully intelligent and sustainable future, not only for their very fortunate customers, but for a world of new entrepreneurs who can be inspired by, and learn from their success, their creativity, and most of all their remarkable integrity and consciousness. I am so blessed to have had a chance to work with this team of sustainability experts and inspired human beings.

Nick and his team are terrific! They made the entire process incredibly easy. Even after solar panel installation Nick is extremely responsive to queries and very helpful!!
