I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
There is no signage anywhere in the store that states the policy of returning defective parts to manufacturer for verification. That is a statement(unless they added one after this complaint). It has now been over month, and Kelly & Hayes still has my defective partI have not been contacted with an answer. This means, if you buy a bad part from them, expect to wait at least over a month before hearing back from themAnd I'm still waitingI paid cash for a mixing valve that Kelly & Hayes has in there possessionI'm certain if I paid with a credit card this wouldn't be an issue right now. This is a horrible company to do business with

As previously stated- There invoices have no mention of sending parts back to manufacturer for confirmation of being defective. Nowhere in the store does it state this either. I would not trust K&H to provide an honest answer from manufacturer based on how they treat there customers. If part was purchased with credit card(rather than cash) I'm certain they would have refunded me the first time. And for the record- The temp sticker on the first valve was dated and the 2nd valve was from Obviously it was old stock.

As stated previously, material has been returned to manufacturer and we are awaiting response from them as to whether or not item is defective. Customer will be contacted with status of refund after we receive reply from manufacturer. As point of reference, all three items the customer purchased and returned were procured by us within last months. Date of manufacturer does not necessarily correspond to into stock date. Customer is incorrect about returns for defective policy which is posted in the store, however I would not expect any other response from customer given their correspondence and attitude to date

Customer made multiple returns of same item within a space of days. return is being handled in accordance with company procedures and posted information in counter area. claimed defective item must be verified as such by manufacturer as we are wholesalers and not qualified to determine defects....

refund will be issued when determined to be defective by mfg. if determination is that item was incorrectly installed or used outside of instructions, then no refund will be due to customer.
