Dwayne's Landscaping

Review: I had a coupon for landscaping services and had Dwayne come out and we arranged for him to do work in the front yard including, Weed/seed/ aerate the lawn, clean out completely 2 beds and replant both w/Azaleas. The third bed was to be weeded and the 3 bushes in that bed would be trimmed. One of the beds w/Azaleas would not only have Azaleas but 2 rows of perineals, one of those rows being French Lavender. Dwayne advised the French Lavender would take him another 2 weeks to get because it was too early in the season and I agreed to wait the 2 weeks. Another thing he was supposed to do was trim the limbs of a magnolia tree and clean up around the base of the tree. The price was estimated and agreed upon at $1125.00 and he said it would take 1-2 days of work. He began work on or about April 1, 2015. He came out that morning at 8:00 am and we chatted again as he and his helper worked. I told him I needed to leave about 11:00 for an appointment and did he need me there. He advised he did not and they should still be there when I returned about 2:00 pm as there was a lot to be done and figured they would still be there late in the afternoon. I had an uneasy feeling when I returned home at 2:15 and found he and his helper gone for the day. Several things had not been done to my expectation or not done at all. The Magnolia tree and not been trimmed high enough so that a riding lawnmower could pass underneath w/o hitting the rider in the head. This was something I had specifically requested. Also, the bushes in the biggest bed hadn"t even been touched as far as trimming. The next day, I waited for him to return and he never did. I called and he came out and trimmed the tree and the bushes. I had already received his bill and paid it in the amount of $1125 and that is when he informed me that he didn't charge me yet for the lavender and other flowers. I advised him I had his coupon for $150 off over $1200 in services and he said he would count the coupon as payment.Desired Settlement: I was informed now he is so busy he can't finish my yard and the planting of the flowers I was promised for several weeks. I feel that I have been cheated out of the coupon services and am not happy w/the job done. He did not do the job as promised.
