I *** entered an contract with DY Calison, and I had to break the contract because I had to get a new roof installed on home 6-12-I inform *** *** that I wanted my deposit of returned backto me ASAPHe and another person in his office told me they both took it to there post office there in El Dorado Hills That day, on 6-9-at 4:pmWell *** *** told me to call him back on 6-16-if I had not received itWhich I had notWell now he's telling to cancel the check and put stop payment on the check at the bank which he should have been honest about itI want my money I need my money I have bills I'm disabled just had surgeryi think he took advantage of meI'm sending copies of all the contract and paperwork

Attached below is a text sent to Ms. [redacted] on June 16, telling her where the check was mailed from.  Ms [redacted] did not cancel her contract until after the 3 day rescission period, so I can take her to court for breach of contract. That is not my desire, but I will if Ms [redacted] keeps up her continued harassment.  Her check was mail on June 9, 2017. She needs to take responsibility for her check book accounting and know what check number she wrote. I have been in business for 40 years and we do not take money from people for work we did not do. This is my last response concerning this and if any negative reviews are posted over this issue I will seek legal action. We can't control the postal service delivery. I suggest that Ms. [redacted] contact her bank and see if any $200.00 checks have been run through her account made out to DY Calison.  [redacted]I can't answer for the postal service. Jorge We were in contract to repair interior water damage from the past weather earlier this year. Ms. [redacted] called us after she went into contract with us saying she did not want us to do the repairs. She said she needed to get the roof fixed first. She asked for her deposit back and we asked if...

she wanted us to destroy or mail it back. She asked to have it mailed. It was mailed on Friday June 9, 2017. We received a call from Ms. [redacted] on Monday June 12, saying she had not received the check. We told her it had been mailed. She called again on Wednesday June 14, saying she had not received it. She told our office manager she was coming to the office and wanted us to give her a check. We have not or did not deposit her check. I called her back and said to call back on Friday June 16, if she had not received it. She called back on Friday saying she had not received it. I suggested she stop payment on the check. She did not want to do that. She text me later asking what the check number was. I told her we did not know as we did not make a copy of the check. I suggested she look in her check register to see what number was. At this point we received several texts threatening legal action, turning us into contractors state license board. We have not responded to any of her communications. Ms. [redacted] does not realize that we can take her to court for breach of contract. We have have a signed contract that we can enforce through legal action. We are not choosing to do this, but if she continues her harassment we will take her to court for breach of contract. This whole scenario is because she did not receive her deposit back and blaming us for the US mail. We do not have her check. She can stop payment. Thank You [redacted]
