Jorge We were in contract to repair interior water damage from the past weather earlier this yearMs [redacted] called us after she went into contract with us saying she did not want us to do the repairsShe said she needed to get the roof fixed firstShe asked for her deposit back and we asked if she wanted us to destroy or mail it backShe asked to have it mailedIt was mailed on Friday June 9, We received a call from Ms [redacted] on Monday June 12, saying she had not received the checkWe told her it had been mailedShe called again on Wednesday June 14, saying she had not received itShe told our office manager she was coming to the office and wanted us to give her a checkWe have not or did not deposit her checkI called her back and said to call back on Friday June 16, if she had not received itShe called back on Friday saying she had not received itI suggested she stop payment on the checkShe did not want to do thatShe text me later asking what the check number wasI told her we did not know as we did not make a copy of the checkI suggested she look in her check register to see what number wasAt this point we received several texts threatening legal action, turning us into contractors state license boardWe have not responded to any of her communicationsMs [redacted] does not realize that we can take her to court for breach of contractWe have have a signed contract that we can enforce through legal actionWe are not choosing to do this, but if she continues her harassment we will take her to court for breach of contractThis whole scenario is because she did not receive her deposit back and blaming us for the US mailWe do not have her checkShe can stop paymentThank You [redacted] ***
